وَلَہُ الۡحَمۡدُ فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَعَشِیًّا وَّحِیۡنَ تُظۡہِرُوۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And to Him belongs all praise in the heavens and the earth — and glorify Him in the afternoon and when you enter upon the time of the decline of the sun.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور سب تعریف اُسی کی ہے آسمانوں میں بھی اور زمین میں بھی، اور رات کو بھی اور اس وقت بھی جب تم دوپہر گزارتے ہو۔

French

Et à Lui appartiennent toutes les louanges dans les cieux et sur la terre – dans l’après-midi aussi et aussi quand vous entamez la période du déclin du soleil.

denn Ihm gebührt aller Preis in den Himmeln und auf Erden – und am Nachmittag und wenn ihr das Sinken der Sonne seht.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور آسمانوں اور زمین میں اسی کی تعریف ہے اور بعد دوپہر بھی اس کی تسبیح کرو اور اسی طرح (عین) دوپہر کے وقت بھی۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

And to Him belongs all praise in the heavens and the earth[2276]—and glorify Him in the afternoon and when you enter upon the time of the decline of the sun.

When one reflects over the sublime purpose of man’s creation and on how a people sunk deep in moral bankruptcy rose to the heights of spiritual glory, as did the Arabs by following the Holy Prophet, one is bound spontaneously to exclaim 'Glory be to Allah, the great Creator of heavens and earth and all that is between them.'

English - Five Volume Translation

And to Him belongs all praise in the heavens and the earth—and glorify Him in the afternoon and when you enter upon the time of the decline of the sun.[3001]

Commentary:

After one reflects over the sublime purpose of man’s creation and on how a people sunk deep in moral bankruptcy rose to the heights of spiritual glory, as did the Arabs by following the Holy Prophet, one is bound involuntarily to exclaim "glory be to Allah, the Great Creator of heavens and earth and all that is between them."

آسمانوں اور زمین میں اُسی کے لیے حمد ہے اور (تسبیح کرو اس کی) تیسرے پہر اور جبکہ تم پر ظہر کا وقت آتا ہے

English - Sahih

And to Him is [due all] praise throughout the heavens and the earth. And [exalted is He] at night and when you are at noon.

اور آسمانوں اور زمین میں اسی کی تعریف ہے اور پچھلے پہر بھی اور جب دوپہر ہو

English - Talal Itani

And for Him (are) all praises in the heavens and the earth and (at) night and when you are at noon.
