34:40
قُلۡ اِنَّ رَبِّیۡ یَبۡسُطُ الرِّزۡقَ لِمَنۡ یَّشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِہٖ وَیَقۡدِرُ لَہٗ ۚ وَمَاۤ اَنۡفَقۡتُمۡ مِّنۡ شَیۡءٍ فَہُوَ یُخۡلِفُہٗ ۖ وَہُوَ خَیۡرُ الرّٰزِقِیۡنَ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Say, ‘Surely, my Lord enlarges the provision for such of His servants as He pleases and straitens it for such of them as He pleases. And whatever you spend, He will replace it; and He is the Best of providers.’
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
تُو کہہ دے کہ یقیناً میرا ربّ اپنے بندوں میں سے جس کے لئے چاہے رزق کشادہ کردیتا ہے اور (کبھی) اس کے لئے (رزق) تنگ بھی کرتا ہے اور جو چیز بھی تم خرچ کرتے ہو تو وہی ہے جو اس کا بدلہ دیتا ہے اور وہ رزق عطا کرنے والوں میں سب سے بہتر ہے۔
French
Dis : « Assurément, mon Seigneur élargit les moyens pour qui Il veut parmi Ses serviteurs, et parfois Il les réduit pour lui. Et tout ce que vous dépensez, Il le remplacera ; et Il est le Meilleur des pourvoyeurs. »

Sprich: "Fürwahr, mein Herr weitet und beschränkt die Mittel zum Unterhalt, wem Er will von Seinen Dienern Und was immer ihr spendet, Er wird es vergelten; und Er ist der beste Versorger."

你说: “我的养主随自已意愿增加其一些仆人的给养, (随自己的意愿) 节缩其一些仆人的给养。凡是你们施用的, 他都使它生出一个结果。他确是最好的供给生活资料者。”

Di': «Certamente, il mio Signore largheggia le provviste per l'uno dei Suoi servi, come Gli piace, e le riduce a un altro, come Gli piace. E qualunque cosa doniate, Egli la sostituirà. Ed Egli è il Migliore dei Sostentatori.»

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
(اور) تو کہہ دے میرا رب اپنے بندوں میں سے جس کے رزق کو چاہتا ہے وسیع کرتا ہے اور جس کے رزق کو چاہتا ہے تنگ کر دیتا ہے اور جو کچھ بھی تم خرچ کرو‘ وہ اس کا نتیجہ ضرور نکالے گا۔ وہ سب رزق دینے والوں میں سے اچھا (اور کامل) ہے۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
Say, ‘Surely, my Lord enlarges the provision for such of His servants as He pleases and straitens it for such of them as He pleases. And whatever you spend, He will replace it; and He is the Best of providers.’

Say, ‘Surely, my Lord enlarges the provision for such of His servants as He pleases and straitens it for such of them as He pleases. And whatever you spend, He will replace it; and He is the Best of providers.’ [3163]
Commentary:
The subject matter of v. 37 is here repeated to emphasize the fact that disbelievers should not be misled by the present poverty and weakness of Muslims, as the latter are destined to inherit the kingdom of the earth because they have believed in the Message of God Who is the Owner and Controller of all the sources of wealth.
اردو ترجمہ مودودی
اے نبیؐ، ان سے کہو، "میرا رب اپنے بندوں میں سے جسے چاہتا ہے کھلا رزق دیتا ہے اور جسے چاہتا ہے نپا تلا دیتا ہے جو کچھ تم خرچ کر دیتے ہو اُس کی جگہ وہی تم کو اور دیتا ہے، وہ سب رازقوں سے بہتر رازق ہے

Say, "Indeed, my Lord extends provision for whom He wills of His servants and restricts [it] for him. But whatever thing you spend [in His cause] - He will compensate it; and He is the best of providers."

کہہ دو بے شک میرا رب ہی اپنے بندو ں میں سے جسے چاہے روزی کشادہ کر دیتا ہے اور جسے چاہے تنگ کر دیتا ہے اور جو کوئی چیز بھی تم خرچ کرتے ہو سو وہی اس کا عوض دیتا ہے اور وہ سب سے بہتر روزی دینے والا ہے

Say, (O Prophet): “Verily, my Lord grants provision abundantly to whomsoever He pleases and straitens it for whomsoever He pleases. Whatever you spend, He will replace it. He is the Best of all Providers.”
