36:44

وَإِن نَّشَأْ نُغْرِقْهُمْ فَلَا صَرِيخَ لَهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنقَذُونَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And if We so willed, We could drown them; then they would have no one to succour them, nor would they be rescued,

اور اگر ہم چاہیں تو انہیں غرق کر دیں پس ان کا کوئی فریاد رس نہیں ہوگا اور نہ وہ بچائے جائیں گے۔

Et si Nous le voulions, Nous pourrions les noyer ; alors ils n’auraient personne pour les secourir, et ils ne seraient pas non plus sauvés,

German

Und wenn Wir wollten, so könnten Wir sie ertrinken lassen; dann würden sie keinen Helfer haben, noch könnten sie gerettet werden,

(44-45) 如果我愿意, 我可以淹没他们; 他们将没有援助者, 除了我的仁慈以外, 他们将没有任何得救之路, 他们享受 (今世的) 生活资料只能到一个 (短暂) 时期。

E se volessimo, potremmo farli annegare. Allora non avrebbero nessuno che li aiuti, né verrebbero salvati,

Spanish

Mas si hubiésemos querido, los hubiésemos ahogado; entonces no tendrían a nadie que les socorrieran, ni serían rescatados,

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور اگر ہم چاہیں تو ان کو ہلاک کر دیں پھر کوئی ان کا فریاد سننے والا نہ ہوگا اور نہ ہماری رحمت کے سوا کسی اور ذریعہ سے وہ بچائے جائیں گے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

And if We so willed, We could drown them; then they would have no one to succour them, nor would they be rescued,

And if We so willed, We could drown them; then they would have no one to succor them, nor would they be rescued,[3243]

Commentary:

The verse seems to say that western Christian nations who have greatly benefited by sea travel and have enslaved weaker nations by their great sea power will not go unpunished if they did not give up their evil ways and the worship of Mammon.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

ہم چاہیں تو اِن کو غرق کر دیں، کوئی اِن کی فریاد سننے والا نہ ہو اور کسی طرح یہ نہ بچائے جا سکیں
