37:20

فَاِنَّمَا ہِیَ زَجۡرَۃٌ وّٰحِدَۃٌ فَاِذَا ہُمۡ یَنۡظُرُوۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Then it will be but one shout of reproach, and behold, they will begin to see.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

پس یقیناً یہ ایک ہی ڈپٹ ہوگی تو اچانک وہ دیکھتے رہ جائیں گے۔

French

Alors ce ne sera qu’un seul appel sévère, et voilà qu’ils commenceront à voir.

German

Dann wird nur ein einziger Ruf des Vorwurfs sein, und siehe, sie beginnen zu sehen.

那个时候只是[c]一声呐喊, 看哪! 他们就将 (复活而) 开始观看;

Basterà un solo grido perentorio, ed ecco, cominceranno a vedere.

Spanish

En ese momento habrá un grito severo y he aquí que empezarán a ver;

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

وہ گھڑی تو صرف ایک ڈانٹ (کی مثال) ہے کہ (جونہی وہ ڈانٹ پڑے گی) وہ (زندہ ہو کر) دیکھنے لگیں گے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

It will be but [c]one stern call, and lo! they will be up and seeing;

79:14.

English - Five Volume Translation

Then it will be but [a]one shout of reproach, and lo! they will begin to see.[3286]

79:14.

Commentary:

The verse, besides the Judgement Day, may refer to the sudden and swift punishment that will overtake disbelievers. The reference seems to be to the Fall of Mecca when the Meccans were simply flabbergasted at the sudden appearance of the Muslim army at its very gates.

بس ایک ہی جھڑکی ہو گی اور یکایک یہ اپنی آنکھوں سے (وہ سب کچھ جس کی خبر دی جا رہی ہے) دیکھ رہے ہوں گے

English - Sahih

It will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing.

پس وہ تو ایک زور کی آواز ہو گی پس ناگہان وہ دیکھنے لگیں گے
