37:57

قَالَ تَاللّٰہِ اِنۡ کِدتَّ لَتُرۡدِیۡنِ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

He will say, ‘By Allah, thou didst almost cause me to perish.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اس نے کہا اللہ کی قسم! قریب تھا کہ تُو مجھے بھی ہلاک کر دیتا۔

French

Il dira : « Par Allāh, tu as failli me faire périr.

German

Er wird sprechen: "Bei Allah, beinahe hättest du mich ins Verderben gestürzt.

Chinese

然后他 (将对他世俗的同伴) 说: “我凭安拉为誓, 你几乎也要使我毁灭,

Italian

e gli dirà: «Per Allah, quasi mandavi in rovina anche me.

Spanish

Dirá: “Por Al‑lah, estuviste a punto de hacerme perecer,

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

پھر اس سے کہے گا‘ خدا کی قسم! تو تو مجھے بھی ہلاک کرنے لگا تھا۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

And will say to him, ‘By Allah, thou hadst almost caused my ruin,

English - Five Volume Translation

He will say to him, ‘By Allah, thou didst almost cause me to perish.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اور اس سے خطاب کر کے کہے گا "خدا کی قسم، تُو تو مجھے تباہ ہی کر دینے والا تھا

English - Sahih

He will say, "By Allah, you almost ruined me.

اردو ترجمہ احمد علی

کہے گا الله کی قسم! تو تو قریب تھا کہ مجھے ہلاک ہی کر دے

English - Talal Itani

He (will) say, "By Allah, verily, you almost ruined me.

اردہ تفصیرِ صغیر نوٹس ^*

He says, 'By God, wellnigh thou didst destroy me;

He will say to him: -- By Allah, you almost ruined me.

'By God', he said, 'you had almost ruined me.
