اَفَمَنۡ حَقَّ عَلَیۡہِ کَلِمَۃُ الۡعَذَابِ اَفَاَنۡتَ تُنۡقِذُ مَنۡ فِی النَّارِ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Is he, then, against whom the sentence of punishment has become due fit to be rescued? Canst thou rescue him who is in the Fire?

پس کیا وہ جس پر عذاب کا فرمان صادق آگیا (بچ سکتا ہے؟) کیا تُو اُسے بھی چھڑا سکتا ہے جو سراپا آگ میں ہے؟

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

کیا وہ شخص جس پر عذاب کی پیشگوئی پوری ہوگئی (اُسے کوئی بچا سکتا ہے؟ اور) کیا تو آگ میں پڑنے والوں کو بچا سکتا ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

Can he, then, against whom the sentence of punishment has become due, be saved? Canst thou rescue him who is in the Fire?

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

(اے نبیؐ) اُس شخص کو کون بچا سکتا ہے جس پر عذاب کا فیصلہ چسپاں ہو چکا ہو؟ کیا تم اُسے بچا سکتے ہو جو آگ میں گر چکا ہو؟

Then, is one who has deserved the decree of punishment [to be guided]? Then, can you save one who is in the Fire?

پس کیا جسے عذاب کا حکم ہو چکا ہے (نجات والے کے برابر ہے) کیا آپ اسے چھوڑ سکتے ہیں جو آگ میں ہے
