قُلْ أَفَغَيْرَ ٱللَّهِ تَأْمُرُوٓنِّىٓ أَعْبُدُ أَيُّهَا ٱلْجَٰهِلُونَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Say, ‘Is it other gods than Allah that you bid me worship, O ye ignorant ones?’

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

تُو کہہ دے کہ کیا تم مجھے حکم دیتے ہو کہ میں غیراللہ کی عبادت کروں؟ اے جاہلو!

French

Dis : « Est-ce un dieu autre qu’Allāh que vous me demandez d’adorer, ô ignorants ? »

German

Sprich: "Heißt ihr mich etwas anderes als Allah anbeten, ihr Toren?"

Chinese

[a]你说: “无知的人啊! 你们命令我崇拜安拉以外的其他 (崇拜对象)?”

Di': «Mi ordinate forse di adorare altri dei all'infuori di Allah, o ignoranti?»

Spanish

Diles: “¿Es a otros dioses distintos a Al‑lah a quienes me ordenáis adorar, Oh ignorantes?”.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

تو کہہ دے‘ اے جاہلو! کیا تم مجھے حکم دیتے ہو کہ اللہ کے سوا میں کسی اور (ہستی) کی عبادت کروں۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[c]Say, ‘Is it other gods than Allah that ye bid me worship, O ignorant ones?’

6:15.

English - Five Volume Translation

[e]Say, ‘Is it other gods than Allah that you bid me worship, O ye ignorant ones?’[3482]

6:15.

Commentary:

With this verse the Surah returns to the subject of Divine Unity with which it had opened and purports to say that it is the height of ignorance and folly to worship false deities.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

(اے نبیؐ) اِن سے کہو "پھر کیا اے جاہلو، تم اللہ کے سوا کسی اور کی بندگی کرنے کے لیے مجھ سے کہتے ہو؟"

English - Sahih

Say, [O Muhammad], "Is it other than Allah that you order me to worship, O ignorant ones?"

کہہ دو اے جاہلو کیا مجھے الله کے سوا اور کی عبادت کرنے کا حکم دیتے ہو

English - Talal Itani

Say, "Is (it) other than Allah you order me (to) worship, O ignorant ones?"
