لَّیۡسَ بِاَمَانِیِّکُمۡ وَلَاۤ اَمَانِیِّ اَہۡلِ الۡکِتٰبِ ۗ مَنۡ یَّعۡمَلۡ سُوۡٓءًا یُّجۡزَ بِہٖ وَلَا یَجِدۡ لَہٗ مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰہِ وَلِیًّا وَّلَا نَصِیۡرًا
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
It shall not be according to your desires, nor according to the desires of the People of the Book. Whoso does evil shall be rewarded for it; and he shall find for himself no friend or helper beside Allah.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
(فیصلہ) نہ تو تمہاری امنگوں کے مطابق ہوگا اور نہ اہلِ کتاب کی امنگوں کے مطابق۔ جو بھی بُرا عمل کرے گا اسے اس کی جز ا دی جائے گی اور وہ اپنے لئے اللہ کو چھوڑ کر کوئی دوست پائےگا نہ کوئی مددگار۔
French
Cela ne dépend ni de vos désirs ni des désirs des Gens du Livre. Quiconque fera le mal en sera rétribué ; et en dehors d’Allāh, il ne trouvera ni ami, ni aide.

Es wird nicht gehen nach euren Wünschen noch nach den Wünschen des Volkes der Schrift*. Wer Böses tut, dem wird es vergolten werden; und er wird für sich weder Freund noch Helfer finden, außer Allah.

(安拉的报酬) 不会依照你们的愿望, 也不会依照有经人的愿望, 凡是作奸犯科的, 他将得到应得的报答。除了安拉之外, [b]他将不能为自己获得朋友或帮助者。

Italian
Non avverrà secondo i vostri desideri, né secondo i desideri del Popolo del libro. Chi opera il male ne sarà ripagato; e non troverà amici o soccorritori al di fuori di Allah.
Spanish
No será según vuestros deseos ni según los deseos del pueblo del Libro. Quien haga el mal recibirá su merecido; y fuera de Al-lah no encontrará amigo ni defensor para él.
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
نہ تمہاری آرزوؤں کے مطابق (ہونے والا) ہے اور نہ اہل کتاب کی آرزوؤں کے مطابق (بلکہ) جو شخص کوئی بدی کرے گا اسے اس کے مطابق بدلہ دیا جائے گا‘ اور وہ اللہ کے سوا نہ کسی کو اپنا دوست پائے گا اور نہ مددگار۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
It shall not be according to your desires, nor according to the desires of the People of the Book. Whoso does evil shall be requited for it; and [d]he shall find for himself no friend or helper besides Allah.

English - Five Volume Translation
It shall not be according to your desires, nor according to the desires of the People of the Book. Whoso does evil shall be rewarded for it; and [b]he shall find for himself no friend or helper beside Allah.[589]

Commentary:
The expression, It shall not be according to your desires, does not mean that the desires of the Faithful will not materialize. The verse purports to lay down a general principle that it is only the Will of God which prevails. As the desires of true believers must coincide with the will of God, they are bound to materialize.

انجام کار نہ تمہاری آرزوؤں پر موقوف ہے نہ اہل کتاب کی آرزوؤں پر جو بھی برائی کرے گا اس کا پھل پائے گا اور اللہ کے مقابلہ میں اپنے لیے کوئی حامی و مدد گار نہ پاسکے گا
English - Sahih
Paradise is not [obtained] by your wishful thinking nor by that of the People of the Scripture. Whoever does a wrong will be recompensed for it, and he will not find besides Allah a protector or a helper.

نہ تمہاری امیدوں پر مدار ہے اور نہ اہل کتاب کی امیدوں پر جو کوئی برائی کا کام کرے گا اس کی سزا دیا جائے گا اور الله کے سوا اپنا کوئی حمایتی اور مددگار نہیں پائے گا

English - Arberry
It is not your fancies, nor the fancies of the People of the Book. Whosoever does evil shall be recompensed for it, and will not find for him, apart from God, a friend or helper.

It is neither your fancies nor the fancies of the People of the Book which matter. Whoever does evil shall reap its consequence and will find none to be his protector and helper against Allah.

It is neither dependent on your wishes, nor the wishes of the people of the Book, (but) whosoever does ill will be punished for it, and will find no protector or friend apart from God;
