وَقَالَ الَّذِیۡۤ اٰمَنَ یٰقَوۡمِ اِنِّیۡۤ اَخَافُ عَلَیۡکُمۡ مِّثۡلَ یَوۡمِ الۡاَحۡزَابِ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And he who believed said: “O my people, I fear for you something like the day of the parties,

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور اس نے جو ایمان لایا تھا کہا: اے میری قوم! یقیناً میں تم پر احزاب کے زمانے جیسا زمانہ آنے سے ڈرتا ہوں۔

Et celui qui croyait dit : « Ô mon peuple, je crains pour vous comme au jour décisif des coalisés ;

Da sprach jener, der gläubig war: "O mein Volk, ich fürchte für euch Gleiches, was den Verbündeten,

那个信仰的人说: “我的族人啊! 我害怕你们将有类似 (早期) 民族 (灭亡) 的一天;

E quello che credeva disse: «O popolo mio, temo per voi qualcosa di simile al fatale periodo dei confederati;

Mas quien creía respondió: “Oh, pueblo mío, temo para vosotros algo similar al tiempo fatídico de los confederados”.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور وہ شخص جو (درحقیقت) ایمان لا چکا تھا اس نے کہا کہ اے میری قوم! گزشتہ بڑی بڑی قوموں کی ہلاکت کے دن کی طرح میں تمہاری ہلاکت کے دن سے بھی ڈرتا ہوں۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

And he who believed said, ‘O my people, I fear for you something like the day of destruction of the great peoples of the past;

English - Five Volume Translation

And he who believed said: “O my people, I fear for you the like of the day of destruction of the parties,[3518]

Important Words:

یوم (day) of which the plural is ایام means, time absolutely; day from sunrise to sunset; present time; now, etc. (1:4). ایام العرب means, the contests and fights of the Arabs. ابن الایام means, a person who is well acquainted with the conditions and circumstances of the time. ایام الله means, the favours and punishments of God (Aqrab). See also 1:4 and 14:6.

احزاب (parties) is the plural of حزب which means, a party or company of men and here signifies the parties who opposed the Prophets of God in their respective times. "The day of the parties" signifies the day when they met their doom.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

وہ شخص جو ایمان لایا تھا اُس نے کہا "اے میری قوم کے لوگو، مجھے خوف ہے کہ کہیں تم پر بھی وہ دن نہ آ جائے جو اس سے پہلے بہت سے جتھوں پر آ چکا ہے

English - Sahih

And he who believed said, "O my people, indeed I fear for you [a fate] like the day of the companies -

اور اس شخص نے کہا جو ایمان لایا تھا کہ اےمیری قوم مجھے تو تمہاری نسبت (پہلی) امتوں جیسے دن کا اندیشہ ہو رہا ہے

And said (he) who believed, "O my people! Indeed I, [I] fear for you like (the) day (of) the companies,
