فَوَقَىٰهُ ٱللَّهُ سَيِّـَٔاتِ مَا مَكَرُوا۟ ۖ وَحَاقَ بِـَٔالِ فِرْعَوْنَ سُوٓءُ ٱلْعَذَابِ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

The result was that Allah preserved him from the evils of whatever they plotted, and a grievous punishment encompassed the people of Pharaoh —

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

پس اللہ نے اسے اُن کے مکروں کے بدنتائج سے بچا لیا اور آلِ فرعون کو بہت برے عذاب نے گھیر لیا۔

French

Ainsi Allāh le protégea des méfaits de tout ce qu’ils avaient comploté, et le pire châtiment cerna le peuple de Pharaon –

So schützte ihn Allah vor den Übeln dessen, was sie planten, und eine schlimme Strafe umfing die Leute Pharaos:

结果安拉使他脱离了他们所策划的恶果, 而且严厉的惩罚包围了法老的人民--------

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اس پر اللہ نے اس (مومن شخص) کو اُن (کفار) کی تدبیروں کے بدنتائج سے بچا لیا اور آل فرعون کو دردناک عذاب نے چاروں طرف سے گھیر لیا۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

So Allah preserved him from the evils of whatever they plotted, and a grievous punishment encompassed the people of Pharaoh—

English - Five Volume Translation

The result was that Allah preserved him from the evils of whatever they plotted, and a grievous punishment encompassed the people of Pharaoh—[3528]

Commentary:

It seems that the people of Pharaoh had hatched a plot to kill the "believing man" or do him some other grievous injury. Not only did the plot itself fall through but a terrible punishment also encompassed the plotters.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

آخرکار اُن لوگوں نے جو بری سے بری چالیں اُس مومن کے خلاف چلیں، اللہ نے اُن سب سے اُس کو بچا لیا، اور فرعون کے ساتھی خود بدترین عذاب کے پھیر میں آ گئے

English - Sahih

So Allah protected him from the evils they plotted, and the people of Pharaoh were enveloped by the worst of punishment -

پھر الله نے اسے تو ان کے فریبوں کی برائی سے بچایا اور خود فرعونیوں پر سخت عذاب آ پڑا
