42:31

وَمَآ أَصَٰبَكُم مِّن مُّصِيبَةٍ فَبِمَا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَيَعْفُوا۟ عَن كَثِيرٍ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And whatever misfortune befalls you, is due to what your own hands have wrought. And He forgives many of your sins.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور تمہیں جو مصیبت پہنچتی ہے تو وہ اس سبب سے ہے جو تمہارے اپنے ہاتھوں نے کمایا۔ جبکہ وہ بہت سی باتوں سے درگزر کرتا ہے۔

French

Et tout malheur qui vous survient est dû à ce qu’ont fait vos propres mains. Et Il pardonne beaucoup de vos péchés.

German

Was euch an Unglück treffen mag, es erfolgt ob dessen, was eure Hände gewirkt haben. Und Er vergibt vieles.

[e]凡你们所遭逢的不幸, 是由于你们亲手所做的 (过错)。而且他宽恕 (你们的) 许多罪过。

Cualquier infortunio que os suceda, se debe a lo que vuestras ropias manos han forjado. Mas Él perdona muchos de vuestros pecados.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور ہر مصیبت جو تم کو پہنچے وہ تمہارے اعمال کے سبب سے ہوتی ہے اور اللہ تمہارے اکثر قصوروں کو معاف کرتا ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[a]And whatever misfortune befalls you is the consequence of what your own hands have wrought. And He forgives many of your sins.

4:80.

English - Five Volume Translation

[d]And whatever misfortune befalls you, is due to what your own hands have wrought. And He forgives many of your sins.[3623]

4:80.

Commentary:

The disbelievers are warned that if after having seen so many signs in support of the Quran they persisted in rejecting it, they will themselves be to blame for any misfortune that befell them.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

تم پر جو مصیبت بھی آئی ہے، تمہارے اپنے ہاتھوں کی کمائی سے آئی ہے، اور بہت سے قصوروں سے وہ ویسے ہی در گزر کر جاتا ہے

English - Sahih

And whatever strikes you of disaster - it is for what your hands have earned; but He pardons much.

اردو ترجمہ احمد علی

اور تم پر جو مصیبت آتی ہے تو وہ تمہارے ہی ہاتھوں کے کیے ہوئے کاموں سے آتی ہے اور وہ بہت سے گناہ معاف کر دیتا ہے
