فَلَمَّا جَآءَہُمۡ بِاٰیٰتِنَاۤ اِذَا ہُمۡ مِّنۡہَا یَضۡحَکُوۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

But when he came to them with Our Signs, lo! they laughed at them.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

پس جب وہ ان کے پاس ہمارے نشانات لے کر آیا تو وہ جَھٹ پٹ ان کا مذاق اڑانے لگے۔

French

Mais lorsqu’il vint à eux avec Nos Signes, voilà qu’ils s’en moquèrent !

German

Doch als er zu ihnen kam mit Unseren Zeichen, siehe, da lachten sie über sie.

但当他带着我的迹象来到他们那里时, 看哪! 他们嘲笑那些迹象。

Italian

Ma quando giunse loro con i Nostri segni, ecco, quelli ne derisero.

Spanish

Pero cuando llegó a ellos con Nuestros Signos, ¡he aquí que se rieron de ellos!

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

پھر جب وہ ان کے پاس ہمارے نشان لے کر آیا تو وہ سنتے ہی اس پر ہنسی کرنے لگ گئے۔

But when he came to them with Our Signs, lo! they laughed at them.

But when he came to them with Our Signs, lo! they laughed at them.[3673]

Commentary:

All Prophets and Divine Messengers have always been held up to scorn and scoffed and mocked at. Their beginning is so humble and their circumstances so poor that their prophecies about the great and bright future of their followers appear only to be wild talk to their people, exciting laughter and inviting jokes and jeers from them.

پھر جب اُس نے ہماری نشانیاں ان کے سامنے پیش کیں تو وہ ٹھٹھے مارنے لگے
