فَلَمَّاۤ اٰسَفُوۡنَا انۡتَقَمۡنَا مِنۡہُمۡ فَاَغۡرَقۡنٰہُمۡ اَجۡمَعِیۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

So, when they excited Our anger, We exacted retribution from them, and drowned them all.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

پس جب انہوں نے ہمیں غصہ دلایا ہم نے ان سے انتقام لیا اوران سب کو (لاؤلشکر سمیت) غرق کر دیا۔

French

Alors, lorsqu’ils Nous courroucèrent, Nous tirâmes vengeance d’eux, et Nous les noyâmes tous.

German

Drum nahmen Wir Vergeltung an ihnen, als sie Uns erzürnten, und ertränkten sie allesamt.

所以当他们激怒了我, [b]我便惩罚了他们, 把他们全都淹死。

Così, quando essi suscitarono la Nostra ira, Noi facemmo vendetta contro di loro e li annegammo tutti.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

پھر جب انہوں نے ہم کو غصہ دلایا تو ہم نے ان سے بدلہ لیا اور ان سب کو غرق کر دیا۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

So, when they excited Our anger, [a]We took vengeance upon them, and drowned them all.

43:26.

English - Five Volume Translation

So, when they angered Us, [b]We exacted retribution from them, and drowned them all.[3677]

Important Words:

آسفونا (they angered Us) is derived from أسف (asifa). They say أسف علیه i.e. he grieved intensely over it; he was angry with him. آسفه (asafahu) means, he angered him, he grieved him, he made him to grieve or lament (Lane & Aqrab).

آخر کار جب انہوں نے ہمیں غضب ناک کر دیا تو ہم نے ان سے انتقام لیا اور ان کو اکٹھا غرق کر دیا
