وَمَا خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا لَٰعِبِينَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And We created not the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, in sport.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور ہم نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو اور جو کچھ ان کے درمیان ہے یونہی کھیل کھیلتے ہوئے پیدا نہیں کیا۔

French

Et ce n’est pas par jeu que Nous avons créé les cieux et la terre, et tout ce qui est entre eux.

German

Und Wir schufen die Himmel und die Erde, und was zwischen beiden ist, nicht im Spiel.

[a]我未曾以游戏的心态创造了天地万物。[1240]

人生有一个严肃的目的, 一项伟大的使命。人的巨大才能和天赋机能明确地说明了人生是真实的、重要的。天地的创造突出地使我们注意到这一伟大的原则。

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور آسمانوں اور زمین کو اور جو کچھ ان کے درمیان ہے ہم نے کھیلتے ہوئے نہیں پیدا کیا۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[a]And We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in sport.[2701]

21:17; 38:28.

Human life has a grim purpose and a great mission. The great faculties and inborn powers of man are a sure indication that life is real and earnest. It is to this great principle that the creation of the heavens and the earth emphatically draws our attention.

[b]And We created not the heaven and the earth, and all that is between them, in sport.[3718]

Commentary:
