46:14

اِنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ قَالُوۡا رَبُّنَا اللّٰہُ ثُمَّ اسۡتَقٰمُوۡا فَلَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَیۡہِمۡ وَلَا ہُمۡ یَحۡزَنُوۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Verily, those who say, ‘Our Lord is Allah,’ and then remain steadfast — no fear shall come upon them, nor shall they grieve.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

یقیناً وہ لوگ جنہوں نے کہا اللہ ہمارا ربّ ہے پھر (اس پر) استقامت اختیار کی تو نہ ان پر کوئی خوف ہو گا اور نہ وہ غمگین ہوں گے۔

French

En vérité, ceux qui disent : « Notre Seigneur est Allāh, » et qui ensuite restent fermes – aucune crainte ne descendra sur eux, et ils ne seront pas affligés non plus.

German

die da sprechen: "Unser Herr ist Allah", und danach fest bleiben – keine Furcht soll über sie kommen, noch sollen sie trauern.

Chinese

[e]的确, 那些人说: “我们的养主是安拉”, 并固守 (正道), 他们将没有恐惧, 也将不会悲伤。

Italian

In verità, quelli che dicono: «Il nostro Signore è Allah» e poi rimangono saldi, non dovranno avere alcun timore, né dovranno rattristarsi.

Spanish

En verdad, quienes dicen: “Nuestro Señor es Al-lah” y luego permanecen perseverantes; ningún temor caerá sobre ellos, ni serán afligidos.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

(یعنی) وہ لوگ جو یہ کہتے ہیں کہ اللہ ہی ہمارا رب ہے پھر وہ اس دعویٰ پر مضبوطی سے قائم ہو جاتے ہیں سو ایسے لوگوں کو نہ تو کسی آئندہ بات کا ڈر ہوگا اور نہ پچھلے زمانہ کی کسی کوتاہی کا غم ہوگا۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[c]Verily, those who say, ‘Our Lord is Allah,’ and then are steadfast—no fear shall come upon them, nor shall they grieve.[2724]

29:70; 41:31.

English - Five Volume Translation

[a]Verily, those who say, ‘Our Lord is Allah,’ and then are steadfast—no fear shall come upon them, nor shall they grieve.[3769]

41:31.

Commentary:

What fear or grief, even under the severest trial, can possibly disturb the equanimity and mental poise of a true believer, who possesses an invincible faith that Allah, the Creator and Lord of the whole universe, is at his back? It is this certain faith that has caused the Faithful in all ages to lay down their lives smilingly in the cause of Truth. Such believers have been called محسنین (doers of good) in verse 13 above. They abide in the Garden of heavenly bliss and bask in the sun of God’s love. See also 41:31.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

یقیناً جن لوگوں نے کہہ دیا کہ اللہ ہی ہمارا رب ہے، پھر اُس پر جم گئے، اُن کے لیے نہ کوئی خوف ہے اور نہ وہ غمگین ہوں گے

English - Sahih

Indeed, those who have said, "Our Lord is Allah," and then remained on a right course - there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.

اردو ترجمہ احمد علی

بے شک جنہوں نے کہا کہ ہمارا رب الله ہے پھر اسی پر جمے رہے پس ان پر کوئی خوف نہیں اور نہ وہ غمگین ہوں گے

English - Talal Itani

Indeed, those who say, "Our Lord (is) Allah," then remain firm, then no fear on them and not they will grieve.
