46:31
قَالُوا۟ يَٰقَوْمَنَآ إِنَّا سَمِعْنَا كِتَٰبًا أُنزِلَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مُوسَىٰ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ يَهْدِىٓ إِلَى ٱلْحَقِّ وَإِلَىٰ طَرِيقٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
They said, ‘O our people, we have heard a Book, which has been sent down after Moses, fulfilling that which is before it; it guides to the truth, and to the right path.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
انہوں نے کہا اے ہماری قوم! یقیناً ہم نے ایک ایسی کتاب سنی جو موسیٰ کے بعد اتاری گئی۔ وہ اس کی تصدیق کر رہی تھی جو اس کے سامنے تھا۔ وہ حق کی طرف اور صراطِ مستقیم کی طرف ہدایت دے رہی تھی۔

Ils dirent : « Ô notre peuple, nous avons entendu un Livre, qui a été révélé après Moïse, accomplissant ce qui le précède ; il guide vers la vérité et vers un droit chemin.

Sie sprachen: "O unser Volk, wir haben ein Buch gehört, das nach Moses herabgesandt ward, das bestätigend, was schon vor ihm da ist; es leitet zur Wahrheit und zu dem geraden Weg.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
(اور) اپنی قوم سے کہا‘ اے ہماری قوم! ہم نے ایک ایسی کتاب کو سنا ہے جو موسیٰ کے بعد اتاری گئی ہے اور جو کتابیں اس سے پہلے اتری ہیں ان کی تصدیق کرتی ہے اور سچ کی طرف اور سیدھے راستہ کی طرف راہنمائی کرتی ہے۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
They said, ‘O our people, [a]we have heard a Book, which has been sent down after Moses,[2734] fulfilling that which is before it; it guides to the truth and to the right path;’
72:2, 3.
The verse shows that the party of jinn mentioned in the previous verse were Jews because they spoke of the Qur’an as 'the Book which has been sent down after Moses.'

They said, ‘O our people [a]we have heard a Book, which has been sent down after Moses, fulfilling that which is before it; it guides to the truth, and to the right path.[3784]
72:2-3.
Commentary:
This verse clearly shows that the party of men mentioned in the previous verse were Jews because they spoke of the Quran as "the Book which has been sent down after Moses".

انہوں نے جا کر کہا، "اے ہماری قوم کے لوگو، ہم نے ایک کتاب سنی ہے جو موسیٰؑ کے بعد نازل کی گئی ہے، تصدیق کرنے والی ہے اپنے سے پہلے آئی ہوئی کتابوں کی، رہنمائی کرتی ہے حق اور راہ راست کی طرف

They said, "O our people, indeed we have heard a [recited] Book revealed after Moses confirming what was before it which guides to the truth and to a straight path.
