5:86

فَاَثٰبَہُمُ اللّٰہُ بِمَا قَالُوۡا جَنّٰتٍ تَجۡرِیۡ مِنۡ تَحۡتِہَا الۡاَنۡہٰرُ خٰلِدِیۡنَ فِیۡہَا ۚ وَذٰلِکَ جَزَآءُ الۡمُحۡسِنِیۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

So Allah rewarded them, for what they said, with Gardens beneath which streams flow. Therein shall they abide; and that is the reward of those who do good.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

پس اللہ نے اس بنا پر جو انہوں نے کہا اُن کو ایسی جنتیں ثواب میں دیں جن کے دامن میں نہریں بہتی ہیں۔ وہ ہمیشہ ان میں رہنے والے ہیں۔ اور احسان کرنے والوں کی یہی جزا ہوا کرتی ہے۔

French

Allāh les a donc récompensés pour ce qu’ils ont dit, par des Jardins sous lesquels coulent des ruisseaux. Ils y demeureront éternellement et c’est là la récompense de ceux qui font le bien.

German

Und um dessentwillen, was sie da gesagt haben, wird Allah sie mit Gärten belohnen, durch die Ströme fließen. Darin sollen sie ewig weilen; und das ist der Lohn derer die Gutes tun.

Chinese

由於他们的这话, 安拉[c]赐给他们河水川流不息的天园, 并将永居其中; 这就是善人的回报。

Italian

Così, per quello che avevano detto, Allah li ricompensò con Giardini a valle dei quali scorrono ruscelli dove essi avranno la loro dimora. E questa è la ricompensa per chi opera il bene.

Spanish

Así, Al-lah los recompensó por lo que dijeron, con Jardines por los que corren ríos. En ellos morarán eternamente; y ésa es la recompensa de los que hacen el bien.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

پس اللہ ان کی (اس) بات کے بدلہ میں انہیں وہ بہشت عطافرمائے گا [1]۔ جن کے اندر نہریں بہتی ہوں گی (وہ) ان میں بستے چلے جائیں گے اور یہی نیکوکاروں کا بدلہ ہے۔

اس جگہ لفظ ماضی کے ہیں لیکن ہم نے معنوں کی مناسبت سے مضارع کا ترجمہ کیا ہے۔ کیونکہ عربی زبان میں یقینی بات کے لئے جو آئندہ ہونے والی ہو ماضی کا لفظ استعمال کر لیا جاتا ہے جیسا کہ آیت وَاِذْ قَالَ اللّٰہُ یَاعِیْسَی ابْنَ مَرْیَمَ میں ماضی کا لفظ مضارع کے معنوں میں استعمال ہوا ہے (دیکھئے اِمْـلَآءُ مَامَنَّ بِہِ الرَّحْمٰنُ سورۃ مائدۃ)

English - Short Commentary Translation

So ‘Allah [a]rewarded them for what they said with Gardens beneath which streams flow. Therein shall they abide; and that is the reward of those who do good.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اُن کے اِس قول کی وجہ سے اللہ نے اُن کو ایسی جنتیں عطا کیں جن کے نیچے نہریں بہتی ہیں اور وہ ان میں ہمیشہ رہیں گے یہ جزا ہے نیک رویہ اختیار کرنے والوں کے لیے

English - Sahih

So Allah rewarded them for what they said with gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. And that is the reward of doers of good.

پھر الله نے انہیں اس کہنے کے بدلے ایسے باغ دئیے کہ جن کے نیچے نہریں بہتی ہیں ان میں ہمیشہ رہیں گے اور نیکی کرنے والوں کا یہی بدلہ ہے

English - Talal Itani

So rewarded them Allah for what they said (with) Gardens flows from underneath them the rivers, will abide forever in it. And that (is the) reward (of) the good-doers.

English - Arberry

And God rewards them for what they say with gardens underneath which rivers flow, therein dwelling forever; that is the recompense of the good-doers.

So Allah rewarded them for these words with Gardens beneath which rivers flow so that they would abide there for ever. Such is the reward of the people who do good.

God will reward them for saying so with gardens where streams flow by, where they will live for ever. This is the recompense of those who do good.

And for this their prayer hath Allah rewarded them with gardens, with rivers flowing underneath,- their eternal home. Such is the recompense of those who do good.
