50:17

وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا الۡاِنۡسٰنَ وَنَعۡلَمُ مَا تُوَسۡوِسُ بِہٖ نَفۡسُہٗ ۖ وَنَحۡنُ اَقۡرَبُ اِلَیۡہِ مِنۡ حَبۡلِ الۡوَرِیۡدِ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And assuredly, We have created man and We know what his physical self whispers to him, and We are nearer to him than even his jugular vein.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور یقیناً ہم نے انسان کو پیدا کیا اور ہم جانتے ہیں کہ اس کا نفس اُسے کیسے کیسے وساوس میں ڈالتا ہے اور ہم اس سے (اس کی) رگِ جان سے بھی زیادہ قریب ہیں۔

French

Et assurément Nous avons créé l’homme, et Nous savons ce que son esprit lui murmure, et Nous sommes plus près de lui que même sa veine jugulaire.

German

Wahrlich, Wir erschufen den Menschen, und Wir wissen alles, was sein Fleisch ihm zuflüstert; denn Wir sind ihm näher als die Halsader.

我确已创造了人, 我知道他的心思向他细声诉说着什么, 我甚至比他的颈静脉更接近他。

Italian

E sicuramente, Noi abbiamo creato l'uomo e sappiamo che cosa il suo ego gli sussurra e siamo più vicini a lui della sua stessa vena giugulare.

Spanish

Pues en verdad, hemos creado al hombre y sabemos lo que su ego le susurra, y estamos más cerca de él incluso que su vena yugular.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور ہم نے انسان کو پیدا کیا ہے اور جو وسوسے اس کا نفس پیدا کرتا ہے اس سے خوب واقف ہیں اور ہم اس (انسان) سے اس کی رگ جان سے بھی زیادہ قریب ہیں۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

And assuredly, We have created man and We know what his mind whispers to him, and We are nearer to him than even his jugular vein.

English - Five Volume Translation

And assuredly, We have created man and We know what his mind whispers to him, and [b]We are nearer to him than even his jugular vein.[3869]

86:5.

Commentary:

Wonderful is God’s creation of the universe, but much more wonderful is the creation of man. The fact that man is master of his conduct and is responsible for his decisions is here put forward as another argument to support the inevitability of the Resurrection. In fact man’s life on Earth is "the seedbed of an eternal future".

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

ہم نے انسان کو پیدا کیا ہے اور اس کے دل میں ابھرنے والے وسوسوں تک کو ہم جانتے ہیں ہم اس کی رگ گردن سے بھی زیادہ اُس سے قریب ہیں

English - Sahih

And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein

اور بے شک ہم نے انسان کو پیدا کیا اور ہم جانتے ہیں جو وسوسہ اس کے دل میں گزرتا ہے اور ہم اس سے اس کی رگ گلو سے بھی زیادہ قریب ہیں

And certainly We created man and We know what whispers to him his soul, and We (are) nearer to him than (his) jugular vein.

We indeed created man; and We know what his soul whispers within him, and We are nearer to him than the jugular vein.

Surely We have created man, and We know the promptings of his heart, and We are nearer to him than even his jugular vein.
