اَتَوَاصَوۡا بِہٖ ۚ بَلۡ ہُمۡ قَوۡمٌ طَاغُوۡنَ

Have they made it a legacy to one another? Nay, they are all a rebellious people.

کیا اِسی کی وہ ایک دوسرے کو نصیحت کرتے ہیں؟ بلکہ یہ ایک سرکش قوم ہیں۔

Se sont-ils donc légué cela les uns aux autres ? Non, mais ils sont tous un peuple rebelle.

Haben sie es etwa einander vermacht? Sie sind vielmehr (alle) ein widerspenstiges Volk.

他们把这样 (态度) 彼此相传[1306]? 不, 他们都是叛逆的人。

反对者在各个时代针对安拉的复兴者的指责是何等相似, 以致一个时代的不信者似乎以此作为遗产传给继承者, 以便继续重复这种谴责。

Se lo sono forse passati in eredità gli uni agli altri? No, sono tutti un popolo ribelle.

¿Lo han convertido acaso en un legado mutuo? No, es que todos son un pueblo rebelde.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

کیا وہ اس (بات کے کہنے) کی ایک دوسرے کو وصیت [2]کر گئے تھے (ہرگز نہیں) بلکہ وہ سب کے سب سرکش لوگ ہیں (اسی لئے ایک ہی قسم کے گندے خیال ان کے دل میں پیدا ہوتے ہیں) ۔

یعنی سب مخالف انکار کی ایک ہی قسم کی دلیلیں دیتے تھے گویا کہ وہ ایک دوسرے کو سکھا گئے تھے کہ اس طرح نبیوں کا انکار کرنا۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

Have they bequeathed[2839] this attitude to one another? Nay, they are all a rebellious people.

So strikingly similar are the charges levelled against Divine Reformers by their opponents in all ages that it seems that the disbelievers of one age bequeath it as a legacy to their successors to go on repeating those accusations.

Have they bequeathed this attitude as a legacy to one another? Nay, they are all a rebellious people.[3925]

Commentary:

So strikingly similar are the charges levelled against Divine Reformers by their opponents in all ages that it seems they bequeathed it as a legacy to their successors to go on repeating those accusations.

کیا اِن سب نے آپس میں اِس پر کوئی سمجھوتہ کر لیا ہے؟ نہیں، بکہ یہ سب سرکش لوگ ہیں

Did they suggest it to them? Rather, they [themselves] are a transgressing people.
