52:27

قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا كُنَّا قَبْلُ فِىٓ أَهْلِنَا مُشْفِقِينَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

They will say, ‘Before this, when we were among our family, we were very much afraid of God’s displeasure;

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

وہ کہیں گے یقیناً ہم تو اس سے پہلے اپنے اہل و عیال میں بہت ڈرے ڈرے رہتے تھے۔

French

Ils diront : « Avant ceci, nous étions au milieu de notre famille, tout en redoutant beaucoup le mécontentement d’Allāh ;

German

Sie werden sprechen: "Wahrlich, früher, unter unseren Angehörigen waren wir besorgt.

Chinese

他们将说: “在这以前当我们与我们的家眷在一起时, 我们 (对我们的命运) 原是忧虑的。[1325]

除了经文中本来的意义外, 这里也可以指, “因为被敌人包围了, 他们的威胁有时使我们惊吓、害怕”。但现在我们享受完全的和平和安全。”

Diranno: «Prima, quando eravamo nelle nostre famiglie, avevamo molta paura di dispiacere di Dio.

Spanish

Dirán: “Antes de esto, cuando estábamos con nuestra familia, nos sentíamos preocupados sobre nuestra suerte.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور کہیں گے ہم لوگ[4] پہلے اپنے رشتہ داروں میں اپنے انجام سے ڈرا کرتے تھے۔

یعنی دنیا میں کفار کی دھمکیوں سے ہم بعض دفعہ گھبرا جاتے تھے مگر آج ہر قسم کی فتح اور امن ہمیں نصیب ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

They will say, ‘Before this, when we were among our families, we were very much afraid of Allah’s Judgment;’[2856]

Besides the meanings given in the text the verse may also signify, 'Being surrounded by enemies, their threats would sometimes frighten and terrify us. But now we enjoy perfect peace and security.'

They will say, ‘Before this, when we were among our family, we were very much afraid of God’s displeasure.[3947]

Commentary:

Besides the meaning given in the text the verse may also signify: "Being surrounded by enemies, their threats would sometimes frighten and terrify us. But now we enjoy perfect peace and security."

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

یہ کہیں گے کہ ہم پہلے اپنے گھر والوں میں ڈرتے ہوئے زندگی بسر کرتے تھے

اردہ تفصیرِ صغیر نوٹس ^*

یعنی دنیا میں کفار کی دھمکیوں سے ہم بعض دفعہ گھبرا جاتے تھے مگر آج ہر قسم کی فتح اور امن ہمیں نصیب ہے۔
