وَلَقَدْ أَهْلَكْنَآ أَشْيَاعَكُمْ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And indeed We have destroyed people before you who were like unto you. But is there anyone who would receive admonition?

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور یقیناً ہم تمہارے ہم قماش (پہلے بھی) ہلاک کرچکے ہیں۔ پس کیا ہے کوئی نصیحت پکڑنے والا؟

Et en vérité Nous avons anéanti, avant vous, des groupes comme vous. Mais y a-t-il quelqu’un qui voudrait être admonesté ?

Und Wir haben bereits Leute wie ihr vertilgt. Doch ist auch nur einer, der ermahnt sein mag?

我 (在你们以前) 已毁灭了像你们一样的人们。可是有人接受劝告吗?

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور ہم تمہارے جیسے لوگوں کو پہلے بھی ہلاک کر چکے ہیں اور کیا (اس بات کو جان کر) کوئی نصیحت حاصل کرنے والا ہے؟

English - Short Commentary Translation

And, indeed, We have destroyed people like you before. But is there anyone who would take heed?

And indeed We have destroyed people before you—who were like unto you. But is there anyone who would take heed?

تم جیسے بہت سوں کو ہم ہلاک کر چکے ہیں، پھر ہے کوئی نصیحت قبول کرنے والا؟

And We have already destroyed your kinds, so is there any who will remember?
