وَٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ ٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Third, the foremost; they are the foremost;

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور سابقون سب پر سبقت لے جانے والے ہوں گے۔

Troisièmement, les plus en avant ; ils sont les plus en avant ;

Die Vordersten werden die Vordersten sein;

(第三是) 最先的[1381]; 他们 (在信仰和行为方面) 确是最先的;

安静的心灵 (89: 28)。

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور ایک گروہ (ایمان اور عمل میں) آگے نکل جانے والوں کا ہوگا ‘ سو وہ تو بہرحال دوسروں سے آگے ہی رہیں گے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

And the foremost;[2961] they are truly the foremost;

The soul at rest (89:28).

English - Five Volume Translation

Third, the foremost; they are the foremost; [4101]

Commentary:

السابقون (foremost) are those believers who have scaled the highest peaks of spiritual progress. They are completely united with their Creator and cannot, as it were, exist in separation from Him. In Quranic terminology (89:28) they are called النفس المطمئنة (the soul at rest). This is the highest stage of spiritual perfection which a believer can attain.
