وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْتُمُ ٱلنَّشْأَةَ ٱلْأُولَىٰ فَلَوْلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And you have certainly known the first creation. Why, then, do you not reflect?

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور یقیناً پہلی پیدائش کو تم جان چکے ہو ۔ پھر کیوں نصیحت حاصل نہیں کرتے؟

Et vous avez certainement connu la première création. Pourquoi donc ne méditez-vous pas sur cela ?

Und ihr kennet doch gewiss die erste Schöpfung. Warum also wollt ihr euch nicht besinnen?

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور تم پہلی پیدائش کو تو جانتے ہی ہو۔ پھر تمہیں کیا ہوا ہے کہ تم نصیحت حاصل نہیں کرتے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

And you have, certainly, known the first creation. Why, then, do you not reflect?

English - Five Volume Translation

And you have certainly known the first creation. Why, then, do you not reflect?[4126]

Commentary:

The verse reinforces the argument begun in the above-mentioned verses. It, in effect, says to disbelievers that they know that God created man from a mere sperm drop and endowed him with wonderful powers and attributes to grow and develop, and yet they dare deny that the Great Creator could give him life again after his death. Does not this fact merit their reflection?

اپنی پہلی پیدائش کو تو تم جانتے ہو، پھر کیوں سبق نہیں لیتے؟

And you have already known the first creation, so will you not remember?
