لَا يَسْتَوِىٓ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ وَأَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْجَنَّةِ ۚ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْجَنَّةِ هُمُ ٱلْفَآئِزُونَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

The inmates of the Fire and the inmates of the Garden are not equal. It is the inmates of the Garden that will triumph.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

آگ والے اور جنت والے کبھی برابر نہیں ہوسکتے۔ جنّتی ہی ہیں جو کامیاب ہونے والے ہیں۔

French

Les habitants du Feu, et les habitants du Jardin ne sont pas égaux. Ce sont les habitants du Jardin qui triompheront.

German

Nicht gleich sind die Bewohner des Feuers und die Bewohner des Gartens. Es sind die Bewohner des Gartens, die erfolgreich sind.

火狱的居民和天园的居民是不一样的。天园的居民确是成功者。

Gli abitanti del fuoco e gli abitanti del paradiso non sono uguali. Sono gli abitanti del paradiso coloro che trionferanno.

Los moradores del Fuego y los moradores del Jardín no son iguales. Son los moradores del Jardín los que triunfarán.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

دوزخی اور جنتی برابر نہیں ہو سکتے۔ جنتی لوگ ہی کامیاب ہیں۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

The inmates of the Fire and the inmates of the Garden are not equal. It is the inmates of the Garden that are the triumphant.

English - Five Volume Translation

The inmates of the Fire and the inmates of the Garden are not equal[b]. It is the inmates of the Garden that will triumph.[4205]

38:29; 45:22.

Commentary:

The inmates of the Fire have been mentioned in the preceding verse and the inmates of the Garden in the verse before that. The present verse states that the two parties are not, and never can be, equal.

دوزخ میں جانے والے اور جنت میں جانے والے کبھی یکساں نہیں ہو سکتے جنت میں جانے والے ہی اصل میں کامیاب ہیں

Not equal are the companions of the Fire and the companions of Paradise. The companions of Paradise - they are the attainers [of success].

دوزخی اور جنتی برابر نہیں ہو سکتے جنتّی ہی بامراد ہیں

Not equal are the inhabitants of the Fire and the inhabitants of Paradise. The inhabitants of Paradise -- they are the triumphant.

Those destined for the Fire and those destined for Paradise cannot be alike. Verily it is those destined for Paradise who shall triumph.

Alike are not the inmates of Hell and the residents of Paradise. The men of Paradise will be felicitous.
