قُلْ أَرَءَيْتَكُمْ إِنْ أَتَىٰكُمْ عَذَابُ ٱللَّهِ أَوْ أَتَتْكُمُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ أَغَيْرَ ٱللَّهِ تَدْعُونَ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Say, ‘What think ye? If the punishment of Allah come upon you or there come upon you the Hour, will you call upon any other than Allah, if you are truthful?’
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
تو کہہ دے کہ کیا تم نے کبھی غور کیا ہے کہ اگر تم پر اللہ کا عذاب آ جائے یا تم پر سخت گھڑی آ جائے تو کیا اللہ کے سوا بھی تم کسی کو پکارو گے؟ اگر تم سچے ہو۔

Dis : « Aviez-vous déjà songé à ce que serait votre réaction si le châtiment d’Allāh tombait sur vous, ou que tombait sur vous l’Heure destinée, invoqueriez-vous quelqu’un d’autre qu’Allāh, si vous êtes véridiques ? »

Sprich: "Was denkt ihr? Wenn die Strafe Allahs über euch kommt oder die "Stunde" euch ereilt, werdet ihr dann zu einem anderen rufen als zu Allah, wenn ihr wahrhaft seid?"

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
تو کہہ کہ تم بتاؤ تو (سہی) کہ اگر تم پر اللہ کا عذاب آجائے یا تم پر وہ (موعودہ) گھڑی آجائے تو اگر تم سچے ہو تو کیا تم (اس وقت) اللہ کے سوا کسی (اور) کو پکارو گے۔

Say, [b]‘What think ye? If the punishment of Allah come upon you or there come upon you the Hour, will you call upon any other than Allah, if you are truthful?’[787]
6:48; 12:108; 43:67.
Commentary:
The word "Hour" refers to the Hour of the decisive victory of Islam, or, in other words, the Fall of Mecca. Thus, whereas "punishment" refers to ordinary afflictions, "Hour" refers to the final and decisive event of the struggle. The question put in this verse is answered in the next.

ان سے کہو، ذرا غور کر کے بتاؤ، اگر کبھی تم پر اللہ کی طرف سے کوئی بڑی مصیبت آ جاتی ہے یا آخری گھڑی آ پہنچتی ہے تو کیا اس وقت تم اللہ کے سوا کسی اور کو پکارتے ہو؟ بولو اگر تم سچے ہو
