62:8

وَلَا يَتَمَنَّوْنَهُۥٓ أَبَدًۢا بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌۢ بِٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

But they will never wish for it, because of that which their hands have sent on before them. And Allah knows full well those who do wrong.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور وہ ہرگز اس کی تمنّا نہیں کریں گے بسبب اس کے جو اُن کے ہاتھوں نے آگے بھیجا ہے۔ اور اللہ ظالموں کو خوب جانتا ہے۔

French

Mais ils ne la souhaiteront jamais, à cause de ce que leurs mains ont envoyé devant eux. Et Allāh connaît très bien les injustes.

German

Doch sie werden sich ihn niemals wünschen, um dessentwillen, was ihre Hände ihnen vorausgeschickt haben. Und Allah kennt die Frevler recht wohl.

[b]但是他们因为自己已往的行为将永不愿意死亡。安拉是全知不义者的。

2:96.

Italian

Ma essi non se l'augureranno mai, a motivo di quello che le loro mani hanno mandato innanzi ad essi. E Allah conosce bene quelli che operano il male.

Spanish

Pero nunca la desearán por lo que sus manos cometieron con anterioridad. Mas Al-lah conoce muy bien a los que practican la iniquidad.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

مگر وہ اپنے گذشتہ اعمال کی وجہ سے کبھی بھی مباہلہ کے لئے تیار نہ ہوں گے اور اللہ ظالموں سے خوب واقف ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[b]But they will never wish for it, because of that which their hands have sent on before them. And Allah knows well those who do wrong.

2:96.

[b]But they will never wish for it, because of that which their hands have sent on before them. And Allah knows well those who do wrong.[4240]

2:96.

Commentary:

The reference in the verse seems to be to those Muslim ulema whom the Promised Messiah will invite to Mubahalah. Being convinced of the falsity of their position the ulema will refuse to accept the challenge.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

لیکن یہ ہرگز اس کی تمنا نہ کریں گے اپنے کرتوتوں کی وجہ سے جو یہ کر چکے ہیں، اور اللہ اِن ظالموں کو خوب جانتا ہے

English - Sahih

But they will not wish for it, ever, because of what their hands have put forth. And Allah is Knowing of the wrongdoers.

اور وہ لوگ اس کی کبھی بھی تمنا نہ کریں گے بسبب ان (عملوں) کے جو ان کے ہاتھوں نے آگے بھیجے اور الله ظالموں کو خوب جانتا ہے

English - Talal Itani

But not they will wish for it, ever, for what (have) sent forth their hands. And Allah (is) All-Knowing of the wrongdoers.
