7:40

وَقَالَتۡ اُوۡلٰٮہُمۡ لِاُخۡرٰٮہُمۡ فَمَا کَانَ لَکُمۡ عَلَیۡنَا مِنۡ فَضۡلٍ فَذُوۡقُوا الۡعَذَابَ بِمَا کُنۡتُمۡ تَکۡسِبُوۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And the first of them will say to the last of them: ‘You have then no superiority over us; taste therefore the punishment for all that you did.’

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور ان میں سے پہلی (جماعت) دوسری سے کہے گی تمہیں ہم پر کوئی فضیلت نہیں تھی۔ پس عذاب چکھو بسبب اس کے جو تم کَسَب کیا کرتے تھے۔

French

Et la première dira à la dernière : « Vous n’avez donc aucune supériorité sur nous ; alors goûtez le châtiment pour ce que vous avez acquis. »

Und die ersten werden zu den letzten sagen: "So hattet ihr denn keinen Vorzug vor uns; kostet also die Strafe für das, was ihr getan."

Chinese

(那时), 他们的前者对后者说: “你们没有比我们有什么超越的地方 (而使你们遭受较轻的惩罚;) 所以你们由于自己的行为, 就尝受惩罚吧!”

Italian

Ed il primo di essi dirà all'ultimo: «Voi allora non avete alcuna superiorità su di noi; provate quindi la punizione per quanto avete fatto.»

Spanish

Mas los primeros de ellos dirán a los últimos: “No tenéis superioridad sobre nosotros; probad pues el castigo por todo lo que hicisteis”.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور (اس پر) ان میں سے پہلی قوم اپنے سے پچھلی قوم کو کہے گی‘ تم کو ہم پر کوئی فضیلت نہیں تھی (کہ تم کو کم عذاب دیا جائے) پس تم اپنے اعمال کی وجہ سے عذاب چکھو۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

And the first of them will say to the last of them, ‘You have then no superiority over us; taste, therefore, the punishment for all that you did.’

English - Five Volume Translation

And the first of them will say to the last of them: ‘You have then no superiority over us; taste therefore the punishment for all that you did.’

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اور پہلا گروہ دوسرے گروہ سے کہے گا کہ (اگر ہم قابل الزام تھے) تو تمہی کو ہم پر کونسی فضیلت حاصل تھی، اب اپنی کمائی کے نتیجہ میں عذاب کا مزا چکھو

English - Sahih

And the first of them will say to the last of them, "Then you had not any favor over us, so taste the punishment for what you used to earn."

اردو ترجمہ احمد علی

اور پہلے پچھلوں سے کہیں گے پس تمہیں ہم پر کوئی فضیلت نہیں پس بسب اپنی کمائی کے عذاب چکھو

And (will) say (the) first of them to (the) last of them, "Then not is for you upon us any superiority, so taste the punishment for what you used to earn."

Then the preceding ones will say to the succeeding ones: 'You were in no way superior to us; taste, then, this torment for your deeds.'

Then the former will say to the latter: "You have no privilege over us. So taste the punishment for what you had done."
