7:4
اِتَّبِعُوۡا مَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ اِلَیۡکُمۡ مِّنۡ رَّبِّکُمۡ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوۡا مِنۡ دُوۡنِہٖۤ اَوۡلِیَآءَ ۗ قَلِیۡلًا مَّا تَذَکَّرُوۡنَ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Follow that which has been sent down to you from your Lord, and follow no protectors other than Him. How little do you remember!
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
اُس کی پیروی کرو جو تمہارے ربّ کی طرف سے تمہاری طرف اُتارا گیا ہے اور اسے چھوڑ کر دوسرے ولیوں کی پیروی نہ کرو۔ تھوڑا ہے جو تم نصیحت پکڑتے ہو۔
French
Suivez ce que votre Seigneur a fait descendre sur vous et ne suivez pas d’autres protecteurs que Lui. Mais il est rare que vous suiviez un avertissement.
German
Folget dem, was zu euch herabgesandt ward von eurem Herrn, und folget keinen anderen Beschützern außer Ihm. Wie wenig seid ihr (dessen) eingedenk!

(我对他们说:) [d]你们要遵从你们的养主为你们所下降的 (启示), 不要顺从除安拉以外 (自己猜想) 的帮助者。可是你们完全不接受劝告!

Seguite quel che vi è stato inviato dal vostro Signore e non seguite altri protettori all'infuori di Lui. Ma quanto poco ricordate!

Seguid lo que os ha sido revelado por vuestro Señor, y no sigáis a otros protectores que no sean Él. ¡Qué poco recordáis!
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
(ہم ان لوگوں سے کہتے ہیں کہ) جو (کلام) تمہاری طرف تمہارے رب کی طرف سے نازل کیا گیا ہے اس کی اتباع کرو۔ اور اس (خدا) کے سوا جو (تمہارے خیال میں) دوسرے کارساز ہیں ان کی اتباع نہ کرو۔ لیکن تم بالکل[2] نصیحت حاصل نہیں کرتے۔
قَلِیْـلًا کے لفظی معنے تو تھوڑے کے ہیں۔ مگر محاورہ میں اس کے معنے بالکل نہ ہونے کے ہوتے ہیں۔

[d]Follow that which has been sent down to you from your Lord, and follow no protectors other than Him. But you seldom take warning.
33:3; 39:56.

Commentary:
No patronage or help from any quarter can be of avail to a people in opposition to God and His Messengers. This is a lesson writ large on the pages of history and is well worth remembering.

لوگو، جو کچھ تمہارے رب کی طرف سے تم پر نازل کیا گیا ہے اُس کی پیروی کرو اور اپنے رب کو چھوڑ کر دوسرے سرپرستوں کی پیروی نہ کرو مگر تم نصیحت کم ہی مانتے ہو

Follow, [O mankind], what has been revealed to you from your Lord and do not follow other than Him any allies. Little do you remember.
