قَالَ یٰقَوۡمِ لَیۡسَ بِیۡ سَفَاہَۃٌ وَّلٰکِنِّیۡ رَسُوۡلٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّ الۡعٰلَمِیۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

He replied, ‘O my people, there is no foolishness in me, but I am a Messenger from the Lord of the worlds.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اس نے کہا اے میری قوم! مجھے کوئی بیوقوفی لاحق نہیں بلکہ میں تو تمام جہانوں کے ربّ کی طرف سے ایک رسول ہوں۔

French

Il répondit : « Ô mon peuple, il n’y a en moi aucune stupidité, mais je suis un Messager du Seigneur des mondes.

German

Er antwortete: "O mein Volk, es ist keine Torheit in mir, sondern ich bin ein Gesandter vom Herrn der Welten.

他 (呼德) 说: [d]“我的族人啊! 我并没有任何愚蠢的行为, 而是我来自所有世界养主的使者;

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اس (یعنی ہود) نے کہا۔ اے میری قوم! مجھ میں بیوقوفی کی کوئی بات نہیں (پائی جاتی) لیکن (یہ ضرور ہے کہ) میں سب جہانوں کے رب کی طرف سے رسول ہوں۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

He replied, [c]‘O my people, there is no foolishness in me, but I am a Messenger from the Lord of the worlds;

7:62.

English - Five Volume Translation

He replied, [b]‘O my people, there is no foolishness in me, but I am a Messenger from the Lord of the worlds.[966]

7:62.

Commentary:

The Prophet Hud here refutes the charge of being in error by the same argument by which Noah refuted a similar charge (see 7:62 above). God, being the fountainhead of all wisdom, he who comes from Him, cannot be looked upon as foolish. The other charge is refuted in the next verse.

اس نے کہا "اے برادران قوم، میں بے عقلی میں مبتلا نہیں ہوں بلکہ میں رب العالمین کا رسول ہوں

English - Sahih

[Hud] said, "O my people, there is not foolishness in me, but I am a messenger from the Lord of the worlds."

فرمایا اے میری قوم میں بے وقوف نہیں ہوں لیکن میں پروردگار عالم کی طرف سے بھیجا ہوا ہوں
