إِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ ٱلرِّجَالَ شَهْوَةً مِّن دُونِ ٱلنِّسَآءِ ۚ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّسْرِفُونَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

‘You approach men with lust instead of women. Nay, you are a people who exceed all bounds.’

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

یقیناً تم شہوانی جذبات کی خاطر عورتوں کو چھوڑ کر مَردوں کے پاس آتے ہو۔ بلکہ تم ایک بہت ہی حد سے بڑھی ہوئی قوم ہو۔

French

Vous vous approchez des hommes avec lasciveté au lieu des femmes. Vous êtes assurément un peuple qui dépasse toutes les bornes. »

German

Ihr naht Männern in Begierde anstatt Frauen. Ja, ihr seid ein ausschweifendes Volk."

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

کیا تم عورتوں کو چھوڑ کر مردوں کے پاس شہوت کے ارادہ سے آتے ہو۔ بلکہ (اصل بات یہ ہے کہ) تم حد سے بڑھنے والی قوم ہو۔

Commentary:

Lot rebuked his people for having not only innovated the extremely foul practice of sodomy, but for having also excelled in other evil practices.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

تم عورتوں کو چھوڑ کر مردوں سے اپنی خواہش پوری کرتے ہو حقیقت یہ ہے کہ تم بالکل ہی حد سے گزر جانے والے لوگ ہو"

Indeed, you approach men with desire, instead of women. Rather, you are a transgressing people."
