اور جس کو اس کی پیٹھ[8]کے پیچھے سے اس کا اعمال نامہ دیا جائے گا۔
قرآن کریم سے پتہ لگتا ہے کہ منافق اور کافر شریعت حقّہ کو اپنی پیٹھوں کے پیچھے پھینک دیتے ہیں۔ اسی محاورہ کو اس جگہ استعمال کیا گیا ہے۔ یعنی جس طرح وہ قرآن کریم کو پیٹھ کے پیچھے پھینکتے تھے۔ اسی طرح بدکاروں کو ان کا اعمال نامہ پیٹھ کے پیچھے کی طرف سے دیا جائے گا۔ یہ اشارہ کرنے کے لئے کہ تم بھی دنیا میں ہماری کتاب کو پیٹھ کے پیچھے پھینکتے تھے۔

Commentary:
Those "who had thrown the Book of God behind their backs, i.e. those who had treated the Quran as a discarded thing" (25:31), will be given their record behind their backs. This will constitute a sign that they had not acted upon its teaching.
