فَلَمَّآ ءَاتَىٰهُم مِّن فَضْلِهِۦ بَخِلُوا۟ بِهِۦ وَتَوَلَّوا۟ وَّهُم مُّعْرِضُونَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

But when He gave them of His bounty, they became niggardly of it, and they turned away in aversion.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

پس جب اس نے اپنے فضل سے انہیں عطا کیا تو وہ اس میں بخل کرنے لگے اور (اپنے عہد سے) پھر گئے اس حال میں کہ وہ اِعراض کرنے والے تھے۔

Mais lorsqu’Il leur eut donné de Sa munificence, ils s’en montrèrent parcimonieux et ils se sont détournés de leur engagement avec répugnance.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور جب اس (خدا) نے ان کو اپنے فضل سے مال عطا فرمایا تو انہوں نے اس کی راہ میں اسے خرچ کرنے سے بخل کیا اور (اپنے پرانے طریقوں کی طرف) لوٹ گئے اور (خدا اور رسول کی باتوں سے) روگردانی کرتے ہوئے پیٹھ پھیر لی۔

مگر جب اللہ نے اپنے فضل سے ان کو دولت مند کر دیا تو وہ بخل پر اتر آئے اور اپنے عہد سے ایسے پھرے کہ انہیں اس کی پروا تک نہیں ہے
