这章经文是在宣布使命第二年或第三年启示的, 那时除了紧密的邻里之外穆圣几乎不为人所知, 但是不久他就上升为所有宗教导师中最著名、最受人爱戴、最受人尊敬而且最有成绩的人物。不论是宗教的还是世俗的方面, 没有一个领袖像穆圣那样在他的信徒中间博得这样的敬爱。
The Surah was revealed in the second or third year of the Call, at a time when the Holy Prophet was hardly known outside his immediate neighbourhood, but very soon he rose to be the best known and most loved, respected and successful of all religious Teachers. No leader, religious or temporal, has so much commanded the love and respect of his followers as has the Holy Prophet.
