ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَيْسَ بِظَلَّامٍ لِّلْعَبِيدِ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

That is because of that which your hands have sent on before yourselves, and the truth is that Allah is not at all unjust to His servants.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

یہ اس کی وجہ سے ہے جو تمہارے ہاتھوں نے آگے بھیجا اور جبکہ اللہ (اپنے) بندوں پر ادنیٰ سا ظلم کرنے والا بھی نہیں۔

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

یہ (عذاب) جو (کچھ) تمہارے ہاتھوں نے آگے بھیجا ہے اس کے سبب سے ہوگا اور حق یہ ہے کہ اللہ بندوں پر ظلم نہیں کرتا۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

‘That is because of that which your hands have sent on before.’ and [c]Allah is not at all unjust to His servants.

English - Five Volume Translation

That is because of that which your hands have sent on before yourselves, and the truth is that [a]Allah is not at all unjust to His servants.[465]

Commentary:

The expression, Allah is not at all unjust to His servants, falsifies the inference to which the statement of the disbelievers mentioned in the previous verse gives rise. They seem to say that if Islam had been true, God Himself would have helped it and would not have asked others to help it with their money. To this objection the answer is given that if the Prophet is an impostor and yet God is helping him to thrive and prosper, it means that God is doing a great wrong to the people by granting respite to an impostor and by allowing the people to be led astray by helping a wrong cause. But as God cannot be unjust, so the cause of Islam must be, and is, a right cause.

یہ تمہارے اپنے ہاتھوں کی کمائی ہے، اللہ اپنے بندوں کے لیے ظالم نہیں ہے

English - Sahih

That is for what your hands have put forth and because Allah is not ever unjust to [His] servants."

یہ اس چیز کے بدلےہے جو تمہارے ہاتھوں نے آگے بھیجا اور الله بندوں پر ظلم نہیں کرتا

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور وہ لوگ جو ایمان لائے اور نیک اعمال بجا لائے ان کو ہم ضرور ایسی جنّات میں داخل کریں گے جن کے دامن میں نہریں بہتی ہوں گی۔ وہ ان میں ہمیشہ ہمیش رہنے والے ہیں۔ ان میں ان کے لئے پاک بنائے ہوئے جوڑے ہوں گے۔ اور ہم انہیں گھنے سایوں میں داخل کریں گے۔

French

Et ceux qui croient et font de bonnes œuvres, Nous les ferons entrer dans des Jardins sous lesquels coulent des rivières, pour qu’ils y demeurent à tout jamais ; ils y auront des conjoints/es purifiés/es par Nous ; et Nous les admettrons sous un ombrage dense.

Die aber glauben und gute Werke tun, die wollen Wir in Gärten führen, durch die Ströme fließen, darin sie ewig weilen und immerdar; dort sollen sie reine Gefährten und Gefährtinnen haben, und Wir gewähren ihnen Zutritt zu einem (Ort) wohltätigen und reichlichen Schattens.

Pero a quienes crean y hagan buenas obras los introduciremos en jardines por los que corren ríos, para que habiten en ellos para siempre; allí tendrán conyuges purificadas por Nosotros; y los admitiremos en un lugar con una agradable y densa sombra.

اور جو لوگ ایمان لائے ہیں اور انہوں نے نیک اعمال کیے ہیں انہیں ہم ضرور ایسے باغات میں داخل کریں گے جن کے نیچے نہریں بہتی ہیں وہ ہمیشہ ان میں رہتے چلے جائیں گے۔ ان کے لئے ان میں پاک بیویاں ہوں گی۔ اور ہم انہیں گھنے سایہ میں رہنے کے لئے داخل کریں گے۔

Commentary:

The word مطھرة (pure) does not literally mean "pure" but "made pure," signifying that the spouses whom pious believers will have in Heaven will be made as highly pure as the environment of Heaven demands.

The expression, pleasant and plenteous shade, signifies an atmosphere of peace and calm, free from all pain-giving element. Elsewhere the Quran says: They will know there (in Heaven) neither extreme heat nor extreme cold (76:14).

اور جن لوگوں نے ہماری آیات کو مان لیا اور نیک عمل کیے اُن کو ہم ایسے باغوں میں داخل کریں گے جن کے نیچے نہریں بہتی ہوں گی، جہاں وہ ہمیشہ ہمیشہ رہیں گے اور اُن کو پاکیزہ بیویاں ملیں گی اور انہیں ہم گھنی چھاؤں میں رکھیں گے

English - Sahih

But those who believe and do righteous deeds - We will admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide forever. For them therein are purified spouses, and We will admit them to deepening shade.

او رجو لوگ ایمان لائے اور نیک کام کیے انہیں ہم ایسے باغوں میں داخل کریں گے جن کے نیچے نہریں بہتی ہوں گی ان میں ہمیشہ ہمیشہ رہنے والے ہوں گے ان کے لیے وہاں ستھری عورتیں ہوں گی اور ہم انہیں گھنی چھاؤں میں رکھیں گے

And those who believe[d] and did the good deeds We will admit them (in) Gardens flows from underneath it the rivers, will abide in it forever. For them in it (are) spouses pure, and We will admit them (in the) shade thick.
