English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And those who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor niggardly but moderate between the two;

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور وہ لوگ کہ جب خرچ کرتے ہیں تو اِسراف نہیں کرتے اور نہ بخل سے کام لیتے ہیں بلکہ اس کے درمیان اعتدال ہوتا ہے۔

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور وہ (اللہ کے بندے) ایسے ہوتے ہیں کہ جب خرچ کرتے ہیں تو فضول خرچی سے کام نہیں لیتے اور نہ بخل کرتے ہیں اور ان کا خرچ ان دونوں حالتوں کے درمیان درمیان ہوتا ہے۔

And those who, when they spend, [a]are neither extravagant nor niggardly but adopt a moderate position in the middle;

English - Five Volume Translation

And those who, when they spend, [b]are neither extravagant nor niggardly but adopt a moderate position in the middle;[2695]

Important Words:

لم یقتروا (nor spend niggardly). See 2:237 & 10:27.

قواما (a moderate position) is derived from قام which means, he stood still in his place. قاومه means, it was equal or equivalent to it. قوامmeans, stature of a man; symmetry or justness of proportion; moderation; stay or support of a thing; subsistence of a man (Lane & Aqrab).

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

جو خرچ کرتے ہیں تو نہ فضول خرچی کرتے ہیں نہ بخل، بلکہ ان کا خرچ دونوں انتہاؤں کے درمیان اعتدال پر قائم رہتا ہے

English - Sahih

And [they are] those who, when they spend, do so not excessively or sparingly but are ever, between that, [justly] moderate

اوروہ لوگ جب خرچ کرتے ہیں تو فضول خرچی نہیں کرتے اور نہ تنگی کرتے ہیں اور ان کا خرچ ان دونوں کے درمیان اعتدال پر ہوتا ہے
