وَقَالُوا الۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ الَّذِیۡۤ اَذۡہَبَ عَنَّا الۡحَزَنَ ۖ اِنَّ رَبَّنَا لَغَفُوۡرٌ شَکُوۡرٌ

And they will say, ‘All praise belongs to Allah Who has removed grief from us. Surely, our Lord is Most Forgiving, Most Appreciating,

اور وہ کہیں گے کہ تمام تر تعریف اللہ ہی کے لئے ہے جس نے ہم سے غم دور کیا۔ یقیناً ہمارا ربّ بہت ہی بخشنے والا (اور) قدردان ہے۔

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور وہ کہیں گے کہ سب تعریف اللہ ہی کی ہے جس نے ہمارا غم دور کر دیا ہمارا رب یقیناً بہت بخشنے والا (اور) بہت قدر دان ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

And they will say, ‘All praise belongs to Allah Who has removed all grief from us. Surely, our Lord is Most Forgiving, Most Appreciating;

English - Five Volume Translation

And they will say, ‘All praise belongs to Allah Who has removed grief from us. Surely, our Lord is Most Forgiving, Most Appreciating,[3202]

Commentary:

When a believer has gone through the three stages of spiritual development mentioned in v. 33 above, all fear of faltering or falling disappears. His spiritual future becomes safe. This state of mind of a true believer is described elsewhere in the Quran in the words لا خوف علیھم ولاھم یحزنون i.e. they will not grieve over their past failures, if any, nor will they have fear about any possible future failures.

اور وہ کہیں گے کہ شکر ہے اُس خدا کا جس نے ہم سے غم دور کر دیا، یقیناً ہمارا رب معاف کرنے والا اور قدر فرمانے والا ہے

And they will say, "Praise to Allah, who has removed from us [all] sorrow. Indeed, our Lord is Forgiving and Appreciative -
