يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ٱتَّقُوا۟ رَبَّكُمْ وَٱخْشَوْا۟ يَوْمًا لَّا يَجْزِى وَالِدٌ عَن وَلَدِهِۦ وَلَا مَوْلُودٌ هُوَ جَازٍ عَن وَالِدِهِۦ شَيْـًٔا ۚ إِنَّ وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقٌّ ۖ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُم بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْغَرُورُ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
O men, seek protection with your Lord and fear the day when the father will not be of any avail to his son, nor will the son at all be of any avail to his father. Allah’s promise is surely true. So let not worldly life beguile you, nor let the Deceiver deceive you concerning Allah.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
اے انسانو! اپنے ربّ کا تقویٰ اختیار کرو اور اس دن سے ڈرو جس دن نہ باپ اپنے بیٹے کے کام آئے گا، نہ بیٹا اپنے باپ کے کچھ کام آئے گا۔ یقیناً اللہ کا وعدہ سچا ہے۔ پس تمہیں دنیا کی زندگی ہرگز دھوکہ میں نہ ڈالے اور تمہیں اللہ کے بارہ میں دھوکہ باز (شیطان) ہرگز دھوکہ نہ دے سکے۔
French
Ô hommes, cherchez protection auprès de votre Seigneur, et craignez le jour où le père ne sera d’aucun secours à son fils, ni le fils d’aucun secours à son père. La promesse d’Allāh est assurément vraie. Aussi, ne laissez pas la vie de ce monde vous séduire, et ne laissez pas non plus le Trompeur vous tromper concernant Allāh.

O ihr Menschen, fürchtet euren Herrn und fürchtet den Tag, da der Vater nicht Buße leisten wird für seinen Sohn, noch wird der Sohn im geringsten Buße leisten können für seinen Vater. Allahs Verheißung ist wahr. Das Leben dieser Welt soll euch nicht täuschen, noch soll der Verführer euch täuschen über Allah.

人们啊! 要敬畏你们的养主, 惧怕[c]那一天; 父亲对于儿子不能有任何帮助, 儿子对于父亲也不能有任何帮助。安拉的诺言确是真实的。所以不要让世俗的生活欺骗你们, 也不要让 (狡黠的) 欺骗者关于安拉欺骗你们。

Senz'altro, la promessa di Allah è verace. Non fatevi sedurre, dunque, dalla vita terrena, né vi inganni, riguardo ad Allah, l'Ingannatore.

Oh, humanos, buscad la protección junto a vuestro Señor y temed el día en que el padre no pueda hacer nada por su hijo ni el hijo pueda hacer nada por su padre. La promesa de Al‑lah es en verdad cierta. No dejéis pues que la vida mundana os seduzca y que el Engañador os engañe respecto a Al‑lah.

اے لوگو! اپنے رب کا تقویٰ اختیار کرو اور اس دن سے ڈرو جس دن کوئی باپ بھی اپنے بیٹے کے کام نہ آسکے گا اور نہ کوئی بیٹا اپنے باپ کے کام آسکے گا۔ اللہ کا وعدہ ضرور پورا ہو کر رہتا ہے۔ پس دنیا کی زندگی تم کو دھوکا میں نہ ڈال دے اور نہ دھوکا دینے والا شیطان تم کو اللہ کے بارے میں دھوکا میں ڈالے۔

لوگو، بچو اپنے رب کے غضب سے اور ڈرو اُس دن سے جبکہ کوئی باپ اپنے بیٹے کی طرف سے بدلہ نہ دے گا اور نہ کوئی بیٹا ہی اپنے باپ کی طرف سے کچھ بدلہ دینے والا ہوگا فی الواقع اللہ کا وعدہ سچا ہے پس یہ دنیا کی زندگی تمہیں دھوکے میں نہ ڈالے اور نہ دھوکہ باز تم کو اللہ کے معاملے میں دھوکا دینے پائے
English - Sahih
O mankind, fear your Lord and fear a Day when no father will avail his son, nor will a son avail his father at all. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth, so let not the worldly life delude you and be not deceived about Allah by the Deceiver.

اے لوگو اپنے رب سے ڈرو اور اس دن سے ڈرو جس میں نہ باپ اپنے بیٹے کے کام آئے گا اور نہ بیٹا اپنے باپ کے کچھ کام آئے گا الله کا وعدہ سچا ہے پھر دنیا کی زندگی تمہیں دھوکا میں نہ ڈال دے اور نہ دغا باز تمہیں الله سے دھوکہ میں رکھیں

English - Arberry
O men, fear your Lord, and dread a day when no father shall give satisfaction for his child, and no child shall give satisfaction for his father whatever. Surely God's promise is true; so let not the present life delude you, and let not the Deluder delude you concerning God.

O mankind! Keep your duty to your Lord and fear a Day when the parent will not be able to avail the child in aught, nor the child to avail the parent. Lo! Allah's promise is the very truth. Let not the life of the world beguile you, nor let the deceiver beguile you, in regard to Allah.

Commentary:
It is really love of the world that leads man to sin. This is why "the present life" has been mentioned in the verse before the mention of "the Deceiver" who is Satan. This shows that it is man himself who first becomes mentally corrupt and then Satan comes to deceive and lead him astray.

لوگو، اللہ کا وعدہ یقیناً برحق ہے، لہٰذا دنیا کی زندگی تمہیں دھوکے میں نہ ڈالے اور نہ وہ بڑا دھوکے باز تمہیں اللہ کے بارے میں دھوکہ دینے پائے

Commentary:
