۞ فَلۡیُقٰتِلۡ فِیۡ سَبِیۡلِ اللّٰہِ الَّذِیۡنَ یَشۡرُوۡنَ الۡحَیٰوۃَ الدُّنۡیَا بِالۡاٰخِرَۃِ ۚ وَمَنۡ یُّقٰتِلۡ فِیۡ سَبِیۡلِ اللّٰہِ فَیُقۡتَلۡ اَوۡ یَغۡلِبۡ فَسَوۡفَ نُؤۡتِیۡہِ اَجۡرًا عَظِیۡمًا
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Let those then fight in the cause of Allah who would sell the present life for the Hereafter. And whoso fights in the cause of Allah, be he slain or be he victorious, We shall soon give him a great reward.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
پس اللہ کی راہ میں وہ لوگ قتال کریں جو آخرت کے بدلے دنیا کی زندگی بیچ ڈالتے ہیں۔ اور جو اللہ کی راہ میں قتال کرے پھر قتل ہو جائے یا غالب آ جائے تو (ہر صورت میں) ہم ضرور اسے بہت بڑا اَجر عطا کریں گے۔
French
Qu’ils combattent donc pour la cause d’Allāh, ceux qui vendraient bien la vie d’ici-bas pour l’au-delà. Et quiconque combat pour la cause d’Allāh, qu’il soit tué ou qu’il soit victorieux, Nous lui donnerons une très grande récompense.

Lasst also solche für Allahs Sache kämpfen, die das irdische Leben hinzugeben gewillt sind für das zukünftige. Und wer für Allahs Sache ficht, ob er fällt oder siegt, Wir werden ihm bald großen Lohn gewähren.

Que combatan pues, por la causa de Al-lah quienes estén dispuestos a sacrificar la presente vida por el Más Allá. Y a quien luche por la causa de Al-lah, tanto si muere como si sale victorioso, le daremos pronto una recompensa.
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
پس جو لوگ ورلی زندگی کو چھوڑ کر آخرت کو اختیار کرتے ہیں۔ انہیں اللہ کی راہ میں جنگ کرنی چاہیئے۔ اور جو اللہ کی راہ میں جنگ کرے پھر مارا جائے یا غالب آجائے تو اسے ہم جلد (ہی بہت) بڑا اجر دیں گے۔

اردو ترجمہ مودودی
(ایسے لوگوں کو معلوم ہو کہ) اللہ کی راہ میں لڑنا چاہیے اُن لوگوں کو جو آخرت کے بدلے دنیا کی زندگی کو فروخت کر دیں، پھر جو اللہ کی راہ میں لڑے گا اور مارا جائے گا یا غالب رہے گا اُسے ضرور ہم اجر عظیم عطا کریں گے
English - Sahih
So let those fight in the cause of Allah who sell the life of this world for the Hereafter. And he who fights in the cause of Allah and is killed or achieves victory - We will bestow upon him a great reward.

سو چاہیئے کہ الله کی راہ میں وہ لوگ لڑیں جو دنیا کی زندگی کو آخرت کے بدلے بیچتے ہیں اور جو کوئی الله کی راہ میں لڑے پھر مارا جائے یا غالب رہے تو اسے ہم بڑا ثواب دیں گے

So let fight in (the) way (of) Allah those who sell the life (of) the world for the Hereafter. And whoever fights in (the) way (of) Allah, then he is killed or achieves victory then soon We will grant him a reward a great.

English - Arberry
So let them fight in the way of God who sell the present life for the world to come; and whosoever fights in the way of God and is slain, or conquers, We shall bring him a mighty wage.

Let those who seek the life of the Next World in exchange for the life of this world fight in the way of Allah. We shall grant a mighty reward to whoever fights in the way of Allah, whether he is slain or comes out victorious.
