وَقَالُوۡا مَا لَنَا لَا نَرٰی رِجَالًا کُنَّا نَعُدُّہُمۡ مِّنَ الۡاَشۡرَارِ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And they will say, ‘What has happened to us that we see not the men whom we used to reckon among the wicked?
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
اور وہ کہیں گے ہمیں کیا ہوا ہے کہ ہم ان لوگوں کو نہیں دیکھ رہے جنہیں ہم شریروں میں شما ر کیا کرتے تھے۔

Et ils diront : « Que nous est-il arrivé que nous ne voyons pas les hommes que nous comptions parmi les méchants ?

Und sie werden sprechen: "Was ist uns geschehen, dass wir nicht die Leute sehen, die wir zu den Bösen zu zählen pflegten?

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
اور (اس وقت دوزخی) کہیں گے ہمیں کیا ہوا کہ ہم آج ان لوگوں کو نہیں دیکھتے جن کو ہم برا قرار دیا کرتے تھے۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
And the inmates of Hell will say, ‘What is the matter with us that we see not the men[2549] whom we used to reckon among the wicked?
The reference in the words, 'the men,' is to the believers.

And they will say, ‘What has happened to us that we see not the men whom we used to reckon among the wicked?[3423]

اور وہ آپس میں کہیں گے "کیا بات ہے، ہم اُن لوگوں کو کہیں نہیں دیکھتے جنہیں ہم دنیا میں برا سمجھتے تھے؟
