وَاِذۡ قِیۡلَ لَہُمُ اسۡکُنُوۡا ہٰذِہِ الۡقَرۡیَۃَ وَکُلُوۡا مِنۡہَا حَیۡثُ شِئۡتُمۡ وَقُوۡلُوۡا حِطَّۃٌ وَّادۡخُلُوا الۡبَابَ سُجَّدًا نَّغۡفِرۡ لَکُمۡ خَطِیۡٓـٰٔتِکُمۡ ۚ سَنَزِیۡدُ الۡمُحۡسِنِیۡنَ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And when it was said to them, “Dwell in this town and eat therefrom wherever you will, and say, ‘God! lighten our burden,’ and enter the gate in humility, We shall forgive you your sins, and surely We shall give increase to those who do good.”
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
اور (یاد کرو) جب ان سے کہا گیا کہ اس بستی میں سکونت اختیار کرو اور اس میں سے جہاں سے چاہو کھاؤ اور حِطّۃ (یعنی ہمیں بخش دے) کہو اور اطاعت کرتے ہوئے صدر دروازے میں داخل ہو جاؤ ہم تمہاری خطائیں معاف کر دیں گے۔ ہم احسان کرنے والوں کو ضرور بڑھائیں گے۔
French
Et souviens-toi lorsqu’il leur fut dit : « Demeurez dans cette ville et mangez-en - de ses provisions - partout où vous voudrez, et dites : ‘Ḥiṭṭatun’- pardonne-nous et entrez par le portail central avec humilité. Nous vous remettrons vos péchés et assurément, Nous accorderons davantage à ceux qui font le bien. »
German
Und als ihnen gesagt wurde: "Wohnet in dieser Stadt und esset von dem Ihren – wo immer ihr wollt – und sprechet: "Vergebung!" und gehet ein durch das Tor in Demut; Wir werden euch eure Sünden vergeben; wahrlich, Wir werden jene mehren, die Gutes tun."

(记着那个时候,) [a]他们奉命: “住在这个城镇里, 从你们所愿意的地方吃用 (食物), （祷告着）说:（养主啊!） ‘解除 (我们罪过的) 重担吧!’ 全心顺从地夸进 (前面的) 城门, 我将宽恕你们的罪过, 并将增加行善者的幸福。”

E quando fu detto loro: «Abitate in questa città e mangiate da essa dove volete e dite: ‘Dio, alleggerisci il nostro fardello’ ed entrate per la porta con umiltà. Noi perdoneremo i vostri peccati e certamente faremo prosperare coloro che fanno il bene.»

Y recuerda cuando se les dijo: “Habitad en esta ciudad y omed de ella en donde queráis, y decid: “¡Dios! aligera nuestra carga”; y entrad por la puerta con humildad, ya que os perdonaremos vuestros pecados y haremos que prosperen aquellos que hagan el bien”.
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
اور (یاد کرو) جب ان (یعنی بنی اسرائیل) سے کہا گیا کہ اس علاقہ میں رہو اور اس میں سے جہاں سے چاہو کھاؤ۔ اور (منہ سے) کہتے جاؤ (کہ ہم) بوجھ ہلکا کرنے کی التجا (کرتے[2] ہیں) اور اس (سامنے والے شہر کے) دروازہ میں فرمانبرداری کرتے ہوئے داخل ہو جاؤ تب ہم تمہاری خطائیں تم کو معاف کر دیں گے اور پوری طرح فرمانبرداری کرنے والوں کو اور بھی انعام دیں گے۔

And remember the time [e]when it was said to them, “Dwell in this town and eat therefrom wherever you will, and say, ‘God! lighten our burden,’ and enter the gate in humility, We shall forgive you your sins, and surely We shall give increase to those who do good.”

اردو ترجمہ مودودی
یاد کرو وہ وقت جب ان سے کہا گیا تھا کہ اِس بستی میں جا کر بس جاؤ اور اس کی پیداوار سے حسب منشا روزی حاصل کرو اور حطۃ حطۃ کہتے جاؤ اور شہر کے دروازے میں سجدہ ریز ہوتے ہوئے داخل ہو، ہم تمہاری خطائیں معاف کریں گے اور نیک رویہ رکھنے والوں کو مزید فضل سے نوازیں گے"
English - Sahih
And [mention, O Muhammad], when it was said to them, "Dwell in this city and eat from it wherever you will and say, 'Relieve us of our burdens,' and enter the gate bowing humbly; We will [then] forgive you your sins. We will increase the doers of good [in goodness and reward]."

اور جب انہیں حکم دیا گیا کہ تم اس بستی میں جا کر رہو اور وہاں جہاں سے تم چاہو کھاؤ اور زباں سے یہ کہتے جاؤ توبہ ہے اور دروازہ میں جھک کر داخل ہو ہم تمہاری غلطیاں معاف کر دیں گے اور نیکو کاروں کو اور زیادہ اجر دیں گے

And when it was said to them, "Live (in) this city and eat from it wherever you wish and say, "Repentance," and enter the gate prostrating, We will forgive for you your sins. We will increase (reward) (of) the good-doers."

French
A cause de leurs péchés ils furent noyés et on les fit entrer dans un Feu. Et ils ne trouvèrent pas pour eux-mêmes d’aides contre Allāh.

Ob ihrer Sünden wurden sie ertränkt und in ein Feuer gebracht. Und sie konnten keine Helfer für sich finden gegen Allah.

وہ اپنے گناہوں کی وجہ سے غرق کیے گئے۔ اور آگ میں داخل کیے گئے اور اللہ کے سوا انہوں نے اپنے لئے کوئی مددگار نہ پایا۔
