وَاقۡصِدۡ فِیۡ مَشۡیِکَ وَاغۡضُضۡ مِنۡ صَوۡتِکَ ۚ اِنَّ اَنۡکَرَ الۡاَصۡوٰتِ لَصَوۡتُ الۡحَمِیۡرِ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
‘And walk thou at a moderate pace, and lower thy voice; verily, the most disagreeable of voices is the voice of the ass.’

اور اپنی چال میں میانہ رَوی اختیار کر اور اپنی آواز کو دھیما رکھ۔ یقیناً سب سے بُری آواز گدھے کی آوازہے۔

اور اپنی رفتار میں میانہ روی اختیار کر اور اپنی آواز کو دھیما رکھا کر (کیونکہ) آوازوں میں سے سب سے زیادہ ناپسندیدہ آواز گدھے کی آواز ہے (جو بہت اونچی ہوتی ہے) ۔
