وَمَا قَدَرُوا اللّٰہَ حَقَّ قَدۡرِہٖ وَالۡاَرۡضُ جَمِیۡعًا قَبۡضَتُہٗ یَوۡمَ الۡقِیٰمَۃِ وَالسَّمٰوٰتُ مَطۡوِیّٰتٌۢ بِیَمِیۡنِہٖ ۚ سُبۡحٰنَہٗ وَتَعٰلٰی عَمَّا یُشۡرِکُوۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And they do not esteem Allah, with the esteem that is due to Him. And the whole earth will be but His handful on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens will be rolled up in His right hand. Glory to Him and exalted is He above that which they associate with Him.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور انہوں نے اللہ کی قدر نہیں کی جیسا کہ اس کی قدر کا حق تھا اور قیامت کے دن زمین تمام تر اُسی کے قبضہ میں ہوگی اور آسمان اس کے داہنے ہاتھ میں لپٹے ہوئے ہوں گے۔ وہ پاک ہے اور بہت بلند ہے اس سے جو وہ شرک کرتے ہیں۔

French

Ils n'estiment pas Allāh de l’estime qui Lui est due. Et la terre sera sous Sa domination complète le Jour de la Résurrection, et les cieux seront enroulés dans Sa main droite. Gloire à Lui et élevé est-Il au-dessus de ce qu’ils Lui associent.

German

Sie schätzen Allah nicht, wie es Ihm gebührt. Die ganze Erde gehört Ihm allein, und am Tage der Auferstehung werden die Himmel (und die Erde) zusammengerollt sein in Seiner Rechten. Preis Ihm! Hoch erhaben ist Er über das, was sie anbeten.

Essi non hanno portato il dovuto rispetto alla Maestà di Allah. E la terra sarà interamente sotto il Suo controllo nel Giorno del giudizio, e i cieli verranno arrotolati alla Sua destra. Sia gloria a Lui, ed Egli è esaltato al di sopra di quanto associano a Lui.

Spanish

No respetan apropiadamente la Majestad de Al‑lah como es debido. Y la tierra estará enteramente bajo Su dominio en el Día del Juicio Final, y así también estarán los cielos enrollados en Su mano derecha. Glorificado y exaltado sea Él por encima de lo que ellos Le asocian.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور ان لوگوں نے اللہ کی صفات کا صحیح اندازہ نہیں لگایا حالانکہ زمین سب کی سب اس کی مملوکہ ہے اور آسمان (اور زمین دونوں) قیامت کے دن اس کے دائیں ہاتھ میں لپٹے[1] ہوئے ہونگے وہ پاک ہے اور ان کے شرکیہ عقیدوں سے بہت بالا ہے۔

لپیٹے ہونے سے مراد یہ ہے کہ جب آدمی کسی چیز کو لپیٹ لیتا ہے تو وہ اس کے ہاتھ سے باہر نہیں نکل سکتی۔ مثلاً ریت کو کوئی شخص پکڑے تو دبانے سے وہ اس کے ہاتھ سے باہر چلی جاتی ہے۔ لیکن اگر روٹی کو لپیٹ لے تو وہ زور لگانے سے زیادہ سے زیادہ قبضہ میں آجاتی ہے باہر نہیں نکلتی۔ اسی مفہوم کی طرف مزید اشارہ بِیَمِیْنِہٖ سے فرمایا۔ یعنی اس دن زمین و آسمان خالی ہمارے ہاتھوں میں لپیٹے ہوئے نہیں ہوں گے بلکہ وہ ہمارے دائیں ہاتھ میں جو قوت کی نشانی ہے لپیٹے ہوئے ہوں گے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[e]And they have not formed a true concept of the attributes of Allah. [f]And the entire earth will be under His complete control on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens rolled up in His right hand.[2587] Glory be to Him and exalted is He above that which they associate with Him.

6:92; 22:75.

21:105.

Yamin signifying power and strength, the verse refers to the great Power and Majesty of God and purports to say that nothing is more derogatory to his great attributes than that idols made of wood and stone or weak human beings should be worshipped.

Commentary:

The word یمین signifying power and strength, the verse refers to the great power and majesty of God and purports to say that nothing is more derogatory to His great attributes than that idols, made of wood and stone, or weak human beings, should be worshipped.

اِن لوگوں نے اللہ کی قدر ہی نہ کی جیسا کہ اس کی قدر کرنے کا حق ہے (اس کی قدرت کاملہ کا حال تو یہ ہے کہ) قیامت کے روز پوری زمین اُس کی مٹھی میں ہو گی اور آسمان اس کے دست راست میں لپٹے ہوئے ہوں گے پاک اور بالاتر ہے وہ اس شرک سے جو یہ لوگ کرتے ہیں

English - Sahih

They have not appraised Allah with true appraisal, while the earth entirely will be [within] His grip on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens will be folded in His right hand. Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him.

اور انھوں نے الله کی قدر نہیں کی جیسا کہ اس کی قدر کرنے کا حق ہے اور یہ زمین قیامت کے دن سب اسی کی مٹھی میں ہو گی اور آسمان اس کے داہنے ہاتھ میں لپٹے ہوئےہوں گے وہ پاک اور برتر ہے اس سے جو وہ شریک ٹھیراتے ہیں

English - Arberry

They measure not God with His true measure. The earth altogether shall be His handful on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens shall be rolled up in His right hand. Glory be to Him! High be He exalted above that they associate!

English - Maududi

They did not recognise the true worth of Allah. (Such is Allah's power that) on the Day of Resurrection the whole earth will be in His grasp, and the heavens shall be folded up in His Right Hand. Glory be to Him! Exalted be He from all that they associate with Him.

English - Ahmed Ali

They do not esteem God as is rightly due to Him. The whole earth would be a fistful of His on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens would be rolled up in His right hand. Too immaculate is He and too high for what they associate with Him!

No just estimate have they made of Allah, such as is due to Him: On the Day of Judgment the whole of the earth will be but His handful, and the heavens will be rolled up in His right hand: Glory to Him! High is He above the Partners they attribute to Him!

And they esteem not Allah as He hath the right to be esteemed, when the whole earth is His handful on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens are rolled in His right hand. Glorified is He and High Exalted from all that they ascribe as partner (unto Him).
