3:24

اَلَمۡ تَرَ اِلَی الَّذِیۡنَ اُوۡتُوۡا نَصِیۡبًا مِّنَ الۡکِتٰبِ یُدۡعَوۡنَ اِلٰی کِتٰبِ اللّٰہِ لِیَحۡکُمَ بَیۡنَہُمۡ ثُمَّ یَتَوَلّٰی فَرِیۡقٌ مِّنۡہُمۡ وَہُمۡ مُّعۡرِضُوۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Dost thou not know of those who have been given their portion of the Book? They are called to the Book of Allah that it may judge between them, but a party of them turn away in aversion.

4:8

لِّلرِّجَالِ نَصِیۡبٌ مِّمَّا تَرَکَ الۡوٰلِدَانِ وَالۡاَقۡرَبُوۡنَ وَلِلنِّسَآءِ نَصِیۡبٌ مِّمَّا تَرَکَ الۡوٰلِدَانِ وَالۡاَقۡرَبُوۡنَ مِمَّا قَلَّ مِنۡہُ اَوۡ کَثُرَ ۚ نَصِیۡبًا مَّفۡرُوۡضًا

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

For men is a share of that which parents and near relations leave; and for women is a share of that which parents and near relations leave, whether it be little or much — a determined share.

4:45

اَلَمۡ تَرَ اِلَی الَّذِیۡنَ اُوۡتُوۡا نَصِیۡبًا مِّنَ الۡکِتٰبِ یَشۡتَرُوۡنَ الضَّلٰلَۃَ وَیُرِیۡدُوۡنَ اَنۡ تَضِلُّوا السَّبِیۡلَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Dost thou not know of those who were given a portion of the Book? They buy error and desire that you too may lose the way.

4:52

اَلَمۡ تَرَ اِلَی الَّذِیۡنَ اُوۡتُوۡا نَصِیۡبًا مِّنَ الۡکِتٰبِ یُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِالۡجِبۡتِ وَالطّٰغُوۡتِ وَیَقُوۡلُوۡنَ لِلَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا ہٰٓؤُلَآءِ اَہۡدٰی مِنَ الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا سَبِیۡلًا

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Dost thou not know of those who were given a portion of the Book? They believe in evil things and follow those who transgress, and they say of the disbelievers, ‘These are better guided in religion than those who believe.’

4:119

لَّعَنَہُ اللّٰہُ ۘ وَقَالَ لَاَتَّخِذَنَّ مِنۡ عِبَادِکَ نَصِیۡبًا مَّفۡرُوۡضًا

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Whom Allah has cursed. And he said, ‘I will assuredly take a fixed portion from Thy servants;

6:137

وَجَعَلُوۡا لِلّٰہِ مِمَّا ذَرَاَ مِنَ الۡحَرۡثِ وَالۡاَنۡعٰمِ نَصِیۡبًا فَقَالُوۡا ہٰذَا لِلّٰہِ بِزَعۡمِہِمۡ وَہٰذَا لِشُرَکَآئِنَا ۖ فَمَا کَانَ لِشُرَکَآئِہِمۡ فَلَا یَصِلُ اِلَی اللّٰہِ ۖ وَمَا کَانَ لِلّٰہِ فَہُوَ یَصِلُ اِلٰی شُرَکَآئِہِمۡ ۗ سَآءَ مَا یَحۡکُمُوۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And they have assigned Allah a portion of the crops and cattle which He has produced, and they say, ‘This is for Allah,’ as they imagine, ‘and this is for our idols.’ But that which is for their idols reaches not Allah, while that which is for Allah reaches their idols. Evil is what they judge.

16:57

وَیَجۡعَلُوۡنَ لِمَا لَا یَعۡلَمُوۡنَ نَصِیۡبًا مِّمَّا رَزَقۡنٰہُمۡ ۗ تَاللّٰہِ لَتُسۡـَٔلُنَّ عَمَّا کُنۡتُمۡ تَفۡتَرُوۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And they set apart for the false deities of which they know nothing a portion of that which We have bestowed on them. By Allah, you shall certainly be called to account for all that you have forged.

40:48

وَاِذۡ یَتَحَآجُّوۡنَ فِی النَّارِ فَیَقُوۡلُ الضُّعَفٰٓؤُا لِلَّذِیۡنَ اسۡتَکۡبَرُوۡۤا اِنَّا کُنَّا لَکُمۡ تَبَعًا فَہَلۡ اَنۡتُمۡ مُّغۡنُوۡنَ عَنَّا نَصِیۡبًا مِّنَ النَّارِ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And when they will dispute with one another in the Fire, the weak will say to those who were proud, ‘Verily, we were your followers; will you then relieve us of a portion of the Fire?’
