پس وہ تو ‘ جو تم کہتے ہو‘ اُسے جھٹلا چکے ہیں۔ پس نہ تم (عذاب) ٹالنے کی استطاعت رکھوگے نہ مدد (حاصل کرنے) کی۔ اور تم میں سے جو ظلم کرے ہم اُسے ایک بڑا عذاب چکھائیں گے۔

Nous dirons alors aux idolâtres : « Maintenant, ils ont donné le démenti à ce que vous disiez ; vous ne pouvez trouver ni échappatoire ni aide. » Et quiconque d’entre vous agira injustement, Nous lui ferons goûter un grand châtiment.

Nun haben sie euch Lügen gestraft für das, was ihr sagtet, und ihr könnt weder (die Strafe) abwenden noch (euch) helfen. Und wer von euch Unrecht tut, den werden Wir eine harte Strafe kosten lassen.

(安拉将向偶像崇拜者说: 你们看,) 他们业已否认你们所声明的。今天你们不能脱离 (惩罚), 也不能获得 (任何) 帮助。我将使你们中的不义者尝受大的惩罚。

Allora Noi diremo agli idolatri: «Essi hanno smentito le vostre affermazioni, e quindi non potete evitare la punizione, né potete ottenere soccorso. E chiunque tra voi agirà male, Noi gli faremo provare una dolorosa punizione.»

Entonces diremos a los idólatras: “Ahora os han desmentido especto a lo que dijisteis por lo que no podéis escapar del castigo ni recibir ayuda". Pues a quien de vosotros cometa injusticia, le haremos probar un penoso castigo.

پس (کفار سے کہا جائے گا کہ دیکھ لو) ان جھوٹے معبودوں[1] نے تمہاری باتوں کو جھٹلا دیا ہے۔ پس آج تم نہ تو عذاب کو ہٹا سکتے ہو‘ اور نہ کوئی مدد حاصل کر سکتے ہو۔ اور جو کوئی تم میں سے ظالم ہے ہم اسے بڑا عذاب پہنچائیں گے۔

Then We shall say to their worshippers, ‘They have given you the lie regarding what you said, so you cannot avert the punishment, neither can you get help. And whosoever among you does wrong, We shall make him taste a grievous punishment.

یوں جھٹلا دیں گے وہ (تمہارے معبود) تمہاری اُن باتوں کو جو آج تم کہہ رہے ہو، پھر تم نہ اپنی شامت ٹال سکو گے نہ کہیں سے مدد پا سکو گے اور جو بھی تم میں سے ظلم کرے اسے ہم سخت عذاب کا مزہ چکھائیں گے

the Remembrance, and were a people corrupt.' So they cried lies touching the things you say, and you can neither turn it aside, nor find any help. Whosoever of you does evil, We shall let him taste a great chastisement.

Thus will your gods deny alI that you are professing today. Then you shall neither be able to repel your punishment nor shall get any help from anywhere; and whoso is guilty. of iniquity'' among you, We shall make him taste a severe torment.

Allah’s help came in the form of the rapid spread of Islam in Arabia after the signing of the Treaty of Hudaibiyah, and the Holy Prophet was acknowledged as the Head of an independent sovereign State.
