ٱلَّذِىٓ أَحَلَّنَا دَارَ ٱلْمُقَامَةِ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ لَا يَمَسُّنَا فِيهَا نَصَبٌ وَلَا يَمَسُّنَا فِيهَا لُغُوبٌ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

‘Who has, out of His bounty, settled us in the Abode of Eternity, where no toil will touch us, nor any sense of weariness affect us therein.’

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

جس نے اپنے فضل سے ہمیں ایک خاص مرتبے والے گھر میں اُتارا ہے۔ نہ اِس میں کوئی مشقت ہمیں چھوئے گی اور نہ اس میں کوئی تکان ہمیں چھوئے گی۔

French

Qui, par Sa munificence, nous a établis dans la Demeure d’Eternité. Nul labeur ne nous y touchera ni aucune sensation de lassitude ne nous y touchera. »

German

der uns, in Seiner Huld, in der Wohnstatt der Ewigkeit ansässig machte. Keine Plage berührt uns darin, noch berührt uns darin ein Gefühl der Ermattung."

他以自己的恩典使我们定居一个住所, [c]在那里我们不受劳苦, 也不觉疲乏。

15:49.

Italian

Colui che, per la Sua bontà, ci ha collocati nella Dimora di Eternità, dove nessuna fatica ci toccherà, né alcun senso di stanchezza ci affliggerà.»

Spanish

“Quien, de Su magnanimidad, nos ha puesto en la Morada de la Eternidad, en donde no nos agobiará pena alguna ni nos afectará ninguna sensación de cansancio”.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

وہ (خدا) جس نے اپنے فضل سے ہم کو ٹھہرنے کے لئے ایک ایسی جگہ پر رکھا ہے کہ جس میں نہ تو ہم کو کوئی تکلیف ہوتی ہے اور نہ تھکان۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

‘Who has, out of His bounty, settled us in the Abode of Eternity, [a]where no toil will touch us, nor any sense of weariness affect[2422] us therein.’

15:49.

Complete freedom from every kind of fear and anxiety and perfect peace of mind and satisfaction of heart coupled with the pleasure of God is the highest stage of Paradise that the Qur’an, as the verse under comment and the preceding one show, has promised to believers in this and the next world.

Who has, out of His bounty, settled us in the Adobe of Eternity, [a]where no toil will touch us, nor any sense of weariness affect us therein.’[3203]

15:49.

Important Words:

لغوب (weariness) is infinitive-noun from لغب which means, he was tired or wearied to the utmost or he was languid in consequence of fatigue or he was wearied in spirit or mind. لغوب means, extreme tiresomeness, weariness of mind or spirit (Lane & Aqrab).

Complete freedom from every kind of fear and anxiety and perfect peace of mind and satisfaction of heart coupled with the pleasure of God is the highest stage of Paradise that the Quran, as the verse under comment shows, promises to believers in this and the next world.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

جس نے ہمیں اپنے فضل سے ابدی قیام کی جگہ ٹھیرا دیا، اب یہاں نہ ہمیں کوئی مشقت پیش آتی ہے اور نہ تکان لاحق ہوتی ہے

English - Sahih

He who has settled us in the home of duration out of His bounty. There touches us not in it any fatigue, and there touches us not in it weariness [of mind]."

وہ جس نے اپنے فضل سے ہمیں سدا رہنے کی جگہ میں اتارا جہاں ہمیں نہ کوئی رنج پہنچتا ہے اور نہ کوئی تکلیف

تَرَى ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ مُشْفِقِينَ مِمَّا كَسَبُوا۟ وَهُوَ وَاقِعٌۢ بِهِمْ ۗ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فِى رَوْضَاتِ ٱلْجَنَّاتِ ۖ لَهُم مَّا يَشَآءُونَ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَضْلُ ٱلْكَبِيرُ

Thou wilt see the wrongdoers in fear on account of that which they have earned, and it is sure to befall them. But those who believe and do good works will be in the meadows of the Gardens. They shall have with their Lord whatever they will desire. That is the great bounty of God.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

تو ظالموں کو اس کسب کے نتیجہ سے ڈرتا ہوا دیکھے گا جو اُنہوں نے کمایا حالانکہ وہ تو اُن کے ساتھ ہو کر رہنے والا ہے۔ اور جو لوگ ایمان لائے اور نیک اعمال بجالائے وہ جنتوں کے باغات میں ہوں گے۔ اُنہیں اُن کے ربّ کے حضور وہ ملے گا جو وہ چاہا کرتے تھے ۔ یہی ہے وہ جو فضل کبیر ہے ۔

French

Tu verras les injustes dans la crainte à cause de ce qu’ils ont acquis, et assurément cela leur surviendra. Mais ceux qui croient et font de bonnes œuvres seront dans les prairies des Jardins. Ils trouveront auprès de leur Seigneur tout ce qu’ils désireront. C’est là la grande munificence d’Allāh.

German

Du wirst die Frevler in Furcht sehen ob dessen, was sie begangen, und es wird sicherlich auf sie niederfallen. Jene aber, die glauben und gute Werke üben, werden in den Auen der Gärten sein. Sie sollen bei ihrem Herrn alles finden, was sie begehren. Das ist die große Huld.

你将看见不义的人为了他们以往的行为惧怕 (惩罚)。而那 (惩罚) 一定是会降给他们的。[a]但是那些信仰而行善的人, 将在天园的花草胜地上, 在他们的养主那里, 他们将有他们所愿得的东西。那确是安拉的大恩典。

Vedrai i malvagi spaventati per quello che si saranno meritati e che certamente si abbatterà su di essi. Ma coloro che credono e fanno opere buone verranno a trovarsi nei prati dei giardini. Presso il loro Signore avranno tutto quello che desiderano. Questa è la grande bontà di Dio.

Verás a los inicuos temerosos en razón de lo que han merecido, y que es seguro que caerá sobre ellos. Pero quienes creen y hacen buenas obras estarán en las praderas de los Jardines. Tendrán con su Señor cuanto deseen. Ésa es la gran magnanimidad de Dios.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

تو ظالموں کو دیکھتا ہے کہ وہ اپنے عمل کی وجہ سے ڈر رہے ہیں حالانکہ وہ (موعود عذاب) ان پر ضرور نازل ہونے والا ہے اور وہ لوگ جو ایمان لائے اور ایمان کے مطابق عمل کیا‘ وہ گھنے باغوں میں ہوں گے (اور) اُن کے رب کے پاس ان کے لئے وہ سب کچھ موجود ہوگا (جس کی ان کو خواہش ہوگی) یہی بڑا فضل ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

Thou wilt see the wrongdoers in fear on account of that which they have earned, and it is sure to befall them. [a]But those who believe and do good works will be in meadows of the Gardens.[2653] They shall have with their Lord whatever they will desire. That is the great bounty of Allah.

In v. 19 disbelievers were stated as scornfully rejecting the very idea of a life after death and defiantly demanded its speedy coming, but the believers being conscious of their great responsibilities were mentioned as being afraid of' facing it. In the present verse it is stated that on the Day of Judgment the tables will be turned upon disbelievers. They will be afraid of confronting the consequences of their evil deeds while believers will be happy in the Gardens of Bliss, basking in the sun of God’s love.

Commentary:

The verse constitutes an extension of the subject matter of vv. 19 and 21 above. In v. 19 disbelievers were stated as scornfully rejecting the very idea of a life after death and defiantly demanding its speedy coming but the believers being conscious of their great responsibilities were described as being afraid of facing it. In this verse it is stated that on the Day of Judgement the tables will be turned upon disbelievers. They will be afraid of confronting the consequences of their evil deeds while believers will be happy in the Gardens of Bliss, basking in the sun of God’s love.

تم دیکھو گے کہ یہ ظالم اُس وقت اپنے کیے کے انجام سے ڈر رہے ہوں گے اور وہ اِن پر آ کر رہے گا بخلاف اِس کے جو لوگ ایمان لے آئے ہیں اور جنہوں نے نیک عمل کیے ہیں وہ جنت کے گلستانوں میں ہوں گے، جو کچھ بھی وہ چاہیں گے اپنے رب کے ہاں پائیں گے، یہی بڑا فضل ہے

English - Sahih

You will see the wrongdoers fearful of what they have earned, and it will [certainly] befall them. And those who have believed and done righteous deeds will be in lush regions of the gardens [in Paradise] having whatever they will in the presence of their Lord. That is what is the great bounty.

آپ ظالموں کو (قیامت کے دن) دیکھیں گے کہ اپنے اعمال (کے وبال) سے ڈر رہے ہوں گے اور ان پر پڑنے والا اور جو لوگ ایمان لائے اور نیک کام کیے وہ بہشت کے باغوں میں ہوں گے انہیں جو چاہیں گے اپنے رب کے ہاں سے ملے گا یہی وہ بڑا فضل ہے

Thou seest the evildoers going in fear of that they have earned, that is about to fall on them; but those who believe and do righteous deeds are in Meadows of the Gardens; whatsoever they will they shall have with their Lord; that is the great bounty.

English - Maududi

You will see the wrongdoers fearful of the consequence of their deeds which will certainly overtake them. But those who have faith and do good deeds will be in the meadows of the Gardens, wherein they shall have whatever they desire from their Lord; that is the great Bounty.

You will see the evil-doers full of fear of what they deserve, yet it will come to pass. But those who believe and do the right will be in gardens of Paradise. They will receive what they wish from their Lord; and this will be the greatest favour.
