وَإِن تَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَى ٱلْهُدَىٰ لَا يَتَّبِعُوكُمْ ۚ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيْكُمْ أَدَعَوْتُمُوهُمْ أَمْ أَنتُمْ صَٰمِتُونَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And if you call them to guidance, they will not follow you. It is the same to you whether you call them or you remain silent.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور اگر تم انہیں ہدایت کی طرف بلاؤ تو وہ کبھی تمہاری پیروی نہیں کریں گے۔ برابر ہے تمہارے لئے خواہ تم انہیں بلاؤ یا خاموش رہو۔

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور اگر تو ان جھوٹے معبودوں کو ہدایت کی طرف بلائے تو وہ تمہاری اتباع نہیں کرسکیں گے تمہارا ان کو بلانا یا چپ رہنا ان کے لئے برابر ہے۔

And if you [c]call them to guidance, they will not follow you. It is the same to you whether you call them or you remain silent.

7:199.

And [c]if you call them to guidance, they will not follow you. It is the same to you whether you call them or you remain silent.[1079]

7:199.

Commentary:

This verse refers to inanimate things such as idols and images which some people, out of their ignorance, take as gods.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اگر تم انہیں سیدھی راہ پر آنے کی دعوت دو تو وہ تمہارے پیچھے نہ آئیں، تم خواہ انہیں پکارو یا خاموش رہو، دونوں صورتوں میں تمہارے لیے یکساں ہی رہے
