لَقَدۡ اَخَذۡنَا مِیۡثٰقَ بَنِیۡۤ اِسۡرٰٓءِیۡلَ وَاَرۡسَلۡنَاۤ اِلَیۡہِمۡ رُسُلًا ۖ کُلَّمَا جَآءَہُمۡ رَسُوۡلٌۢ بِمَا لَا تَہۡوٰۤی اَنۡفُسُہُمۡ فَرِیۡقًا کَذَّبُوۡا وَفَرِیۡقًا یَّقۡتُلُوۡنَ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Surely, We took a covenant from the children of Israel, and We sent Messengers to them. But every time there came to them a Messenger with what their hearts desired not, they treated some as liars, and some they sought to kill.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
یقیناً ہم نے بنی اسرائیل کا میثاق لیا اور ان کی طرف کئی رسول بھیجے۔ جب بھی کوئی رسول ایسی چیز کے ساتھ ان کے پاس آتا جس کو ان کے دل پسند نہیں کرتے تھے تو ایک فریق کو تو وہ جھٹلا دیتے تھے اور ایک فریق کی ظالمانہ مخالفت کرتے تھے۔
French
Assurément, Nous avons pris un engagement des Enfants d’Israël, et Nous leur avons envoyé des Messagers. Mais toutes les fois que leur venait un Messager leur apportant ce que leurs cœurs ne désiraient pas, ils traitaient certains de menteurs et cherchaient à mettre d’autres à mort.

Wir hatten einen Bund mit den Kindern Israels geschlossen und Gesandte zu ihnen geschickt. Sooft aber ein Gesandter zu ihnen kam mit etwas, das ihre Herzen nicht wünschten, behandelten sie einige darunter als Lügner und suchten andere zu töten.

Certo, Noi abbiamo stretto un patto con i figli d'Israele, e inviammo loro dei messaggeri. Ma ogni volta che giunse loro un messaggero con quanto il cuor loro non desiderava, essi trattarono alcuni da mendaci e altri tentarono di uccidere.

Ciertamente hemos aceptado un pacto de los hijos de Israel, y les hemos enviado mensajeros. Pero siempre que le llegaba un Mensajero con lo que no deseaban sus corazones, a unos los trataban de embusteros y a otros intentaron matarles.
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
ہم نے یقیناً بنی اسرائیل سے پختہ عہد لیا تھا اور ان کی طرف کئی رسول بھیجے تھے۔ جب کبھی ان کے پاس کوئی رسول اس (تعلیم) کو لے کر آیا‘ جسے ان کے دل پسند نہیں کرتے تھے تو بعض کوانہوں نے جھٹلا دیا اوربعض کو وہ قتل کرناچاہتے تھے۔

ہم نے بنی اسرائیل سے پختہ عہد لیا اور اُن کی طرف بہت سے رسول بھیجے، مگر جب کبھی ان کے پاس کوئی رسول اُن کی خواہشات نفس کے خلاف کچھ لے کر آیا تو کسی کو انہوں نے جھٹلایا اور کسی کو قتل کر دیا
English - Sahih
We had already taken the covenant of the Children of Israel and had sent to them messengers. Whenever there came to them a messenger with what their souls did not desire, a party [of messengers] they denied, and another party they killed.

ہم نے بنی اسرائیل سے پختہ وعدہ لیا تھا اور ان کی طرف کئی رسول بھیجے تھے جب کبھی کوئی رسول ان کے پاس وہ حکم لایا جو ان کے نفس نہیں چاہتے تھے تو ایک جماعت کو جھٹلایا اور ایک جماعت کو قتل کر ڈالا
