وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْتُضْعِفُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ بَلْ مَكْرُ ٱلَّيْلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذْ تَأْمُرُونَنَآ أَن نَّكْفُرَ بِٱللَّهِ وَنَجْعَلَ لَهُۥٓ أَندَادًا ۚ وَأَسَرُّوا۟ ٱلنَّدَامَةَ لَمَّا رَأَوُا۟ ٱلْعَذَابَ وَجَعَلْنَا ٱلْأَغْلَٰلَ فِىٓ أَعْنَاقِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ۚ هَلْ يُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And those who were considered weak will say to those who were proud, ‘Nay, but it was your scheming night and day, when you bade us disbelieve in Allah and set up equals unto Him.’ And they will conceal their remorse when they see the punishment; and We shall put chains round the necks of those who disbelieved. They will not be requited but for what they did.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
اور وہ لوگ جو کمزور بنا دیئے گئے تھے ان سے‘ جنہوں نے تکبر کیا ‘ کہیں گے بلکہ یہ تو رات دن کیا جانے والا ایک فریب تھا۔ جب تم ہمیں اس بات کا حکم دیتے تھے کہ ہم اللہ کا انکار کر دیں اور اس کے شریک ٹھہرائیں۔ اور وہ اپنی پشیمانی کو چھپاتے پھریں گے جب عذاب دیکھیں گے اور ہم ان لوگوں کی گردنوں میں طوق ڈالیں گے جنہوں نے کفر کیا۔ کیا وہ اس کے سوا بھی کوئی جزا دیئے جائیں گے جو وہ کیا کرتے تھے۔
French
Et ceux qui étaient rendus faibles diront à ceux qui étaient arrogants : « Non, mais c’étaient vos machinations nuit et jour, lorsque vous nous avez commandés de ne pas croire en Allāh et de Lui ériger des égaux. » Et ils cacheront leurs remords lorsqu’ils verront le châtiment ; et Nous mettrons des chaînes au cou de ceux qui ont été mécréants. Ils ne seront rétribués que pour ce qu’ils auront fait.

Und jene, die verachtet waren, werden zu denen, die hochmütig waren, sprechen: "Nein, aber es war (euer) Ränkeschmieden bei Nacht und Tag, als ihr uns hießet, nicht an Allah zu glauben und Ihm Götter zur Seite zu setzen." Und in ihrem Innern werden sie von Reue erfüllt sein, wenn sie die Strafe sehen; und Wir werden Fesseln um die Nacken derer legen, die ungläubig waren. Sie werden nur für das belohnt werden, was sie getan.

Mas los considerados débiles dirán a los que fueron orgullosos: “No, fueron vuestras maquinaciones de día y noche, cuando nos ordenabais no creer en Al‑lah y ensalzar a otros como iguales a Él; ocultarán su remordimiento cuando vean el castigo; y Nosotros pondremos cadenas alrededor de los cuellos de los que no creyeron. Sólo serán retribuidos por lo que hicieron.
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
اور وہ لوگ جن کو ضعیف سمجھا گیا تھا‘ ان لوگوں کو جو متکبر تھے کہیں گے (ہم یونہی مجرم نہیں بن گئے تھے) بلکہ تمہاری رات اور دن کی تدبیروں نے ہم کو ایسا بنا دیا جبکہ تم ہم کو اللہ کے احکام کا انکار کرنے اور اس کا شریک بنانے کی تعلیم دیا کرتے تھے اور جب (ان سرکشیوں کے نتیجہ میں) انہوں نے خطرناک عذاب دیکھا۔ تو (جو لوگ اپنے آپ کو بڑا سمجھتے تھے) انہوں نے (اپنے دل کی) شرمندگی کو چھپانا شروع کیا[2]۔ اور ہم ان میں سے جو پکے کافر ہوں گے ان کی گردنوں میں طوق ڈالیں گے۔ (اور یہ سزا ان کی بدعملیوں سے زیادہ نہیں ہوگی‘ کیا وہ سمجھ نہیں سکتے کہ) ان کو جو سزا دی جائے گی وہ ان کے عمل کے مطابق ہوگی۔
یعنی ہم تو اس بات سے خوش تھے کہ ہمیں خدا کا شریک قرار دیا جاتا ہے اور آج ہمیں ایک بڑا عذاب مل رہا ہے۔

أسروا (will conceal). أسر is one of those Arabic words which have contrary meanings. أسرہ means, he concealed it; he manifested it, he made it known (Lane). See also 10:55.
أعناق (necks) is the plural of عنق (‘unuqun) which is substantive noun from عنق (‘aniqa) which means, he was or became long and thick in the neck. عنق means, the neck; a company of men or a numerous company of men; the heads or chiefs of men or great ones. عنق النخل means, the trunks of palm-trees (Lane & Aqrab).

وہ دبے ہوئے لوگ ان بڑے بننے والوں سے کہیں گے، "نہیں، بلکہ شب و روز کی مکاری تھی جب تم ہم سے کہتے تھے کہ ہم اللہ سے کفر کریں اور دوسروں کو اس کا ہمسر ٹھیرائیں" آخرکار جب یہ لوگ عذاب دیکھیں گے تو اپنے دلوں میں پچھتائیں گے اور ہم اِن منکرین کے گلوں میں طوق ڈال دیں گے کیا لوگوں کو اِس کے سوا اور کوئی بدلہ دیا جا سکتا ہے کہ جیسے اعمال اُن کے تھے ویسی ہی جزا وہ پائیں؟
English - Sahih
Those who were oppressed will say to those who were arrogant, "Rather, [it was your] conspiracy of night and day when you were ordering us to disbelieve in Allah and attribute to Him equals." But they will [all] confide regret when they see the punishment; and We will put shackles on the necks of those who disbelieved. Will they be recompensed except for what they used to do?

اورجو لوگ کمزور سمجھے جاتے تھے وہ ان سے کہیں گے جو متکبر تھے بلکہ (تمہارے) رات اور دن کے فریب نے جب تم ہمیں حکم دیا کرتے تھے کہ ہم الله کا انکار کر دیں اوراس کے لیے شریک ٹھیرائیں اور دل میں بڑے پشیمان ہوں گے جب عذاب کو سامنے دیکھیں گے اورکافروں کی گردنوں میں ہم طوق ڈالیں گے جو کچھ وہ کیا کرتے تھے اسی کا تو بدلہ پا رہے ہیں

And will say those who were oppressed to those who were arrogant, "Nay, (it was) a plot (by) night and (by) day when you were ordering us that we disbelieve in Allah and we set up for Him equals." And those that were abased will say to those that waxed proud, 'Nay, but devising night and day, when you were ordering us to disbelieve in God, and to set up compeers to Him.' They will be secretly remorseful when they see the chastisement and We put fetters on the necks of the unbelievers; shall they be recompensed except for what they were doing?

Those who were suppressed will say to those who waxed arrogant: “By no means; it was your scheming, night and day, when you would enjoin us to disbelieve in Allah and set up others as equals to Him.” When they are confronted with the chastisement, they will be remorseful in their hearts.
