وَلَمَّا تَوَجَّهَ تِلْقَآءَ مَدْيَنَ قَالَ عَسَىٰ رَبِّىٓ أَن يَهْدِيَنِى سَوَآءَ ٱلسَّبِيلِ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And when he turned his face towards Midian, he said, ‘I hope my Lord will guide me to the right way.’
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
پس جب اس نے مدین کی جانب رخ کیا اس نے کہا قریب ہے کہ میرا ربّ مجھے صحیح راستے کی طرف ہدایت دیدے۔
French
Et lorsqu’il tourna son visage vers Madian, il dit : « J’espère que mon Seigneur me guidera sur le droit chemin. »

Und als er sein Antlitz gegen Midian wandte, sprach er: "Ich hoffe, mein Herr wird mich auf den rechten Weg leiten."

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
اور جب وہ مدین [1]شہر کی طرف چلا‘ تو اس نے کہا مجھے امید[2] ہے کہ میرا رب مجھے سیدھا راستہ دکھا دے گا۔
مصر سے عبرانی علاقہ کی طرف جاتے ہوئے راستہ میں مدین آتا تھا۔ اس وقت مدین میں عاد قوم کے عرب رہتے تھے۔ اسرائیلیوں نے عربوں کو موسیٰ کے بچانے کا اچھا بدلہ دیا ہے۔ اِنَّا لِلّٰہِ وَاِنَّا اِلَیْہِ رَاجِعُوْنَ۔
عَسٰی عربی زبان میں کسی چیز کے تسلی رکھنے کے لئے استعمال کیا جاتا ہے۔ (مغنی اللبیب)

And when he turned his face towards Midian, he said, ‘I hope, my Lord will guide me to the right way.’

اردو ترجمہ مودودی
(مصر سے نکل کر) جب موسیٰؑ نے مَدیَن کا رُخ کیا تو اُس نے کہا "اُمید ہے کہ میرا رب مجھے ٹھیک راستے پر ڈال دے گا"

اردہ تفصیرِ صغیر نوٹس *

مصر سے عبرانی علاقہ کی طرف جاتے ہوئے راستہ میں مدین آتا تھا۔ اس وقت مدین میں عاد قوم کے عرب رہتے تھے۔ اسرائیلیوں نے عربوں کو موسیٰ کے بچانے کا اچھا بدلہ دیا ہے۔ اِنَّا لِلّٰہِ وَاِنَّا اِلَیْہِ رَاجِعُوْنَ۔

عَسٰی عربی زبان میں کسی چیز کے تسلی رکھنے کے لئے استعمال کیا جاتا ہے۔ (مغنی اللبیب)

And when he turned his face towards Midian he said, 'It may be that my Lord will guide me
