English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And surely among the People of the Book there are some who believe in Allah and in what has been sent down to you and in what was sent down to them, humbling themselves before Allah. They barter not the Signs of Allah for a paltry price. It is these who shall have their reward with their Lord. Surely, Allah is swift to take account.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
اور یقیناً اہل کتاب میں سے ایسے بھی ہیں جو اللہ پر ایمان لاتے ہیں اور اس پر بھی جو تمہاری طرف اتارا گیا ہے اور جو اُن کی طرف اتارا گیا تھا اللہ کے حضور عاجزانہ جھکتے ہوئے۔ وہ اللہ کی آیات معمولی قیمت کے بدلے نہیں بیچتے۔ یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جن کے لئے اُن کا اَجر اُن کے ربّ کے پاس ہے۔ یقیناً اللہ حساب (لینے) میں بہت تیز ہے۔
French
Et sûrement parmi les Gens du Livre il y en a qui croient en Allāh et en ce qui est descendu sur vous et en ce qui est descendu sur eux. Ils s’humilient devant Allāh et ne troquent pas les Signes d’Allāh contre un vil prix. Ceux-là auront leur récompense auprès de leur Seigneur. Assurément, Allāh est prompt à faire les comptes.

Und gewiss gibt es unter dem Volke der Schrift* solche, die an Allah glauben und an das, was zu euch herabgesandt ward und was herabgesandt ward zu ihnen, sich demütigend vor Allah. Sie verkaufen nicht Allahs Zeichen um geringen Preis. Diese sind es, deren Lohn bei ihrem Herrn ist. Allah ist schnell im Abrechnen.

اور اہل کتاب میں سے بعض لوگ یقیناً ایسے (بھی) ہیں جو اللہ (پر) اور جو (کچھ) تم پر اتارا گیا ہے (اس پر) اور جو (کچھ) ان پر اتارا گیا (اس پر) ایمان رکھتے ہیں اور ساتھ ہی (وہ) اللہ کے آگے فردتنی (بھی) اختیار کرنے والے ہیں (اور) اللہ کی آیات کے بدلے تھوڑا [1]مول نہیں لیتے۔ یہ ایسے لوگ ہیں کہ جن (کے اعمال) کا بدلہ ان کے رب کے پاس ان کے لئے (محفوظ) ہے۔ اللہ یقیناً جلد حساب کرنے والا ہے۔
یعنی دین کے بدلہ میں دنیا کے حقیر اموال قبول نہیں کرتے۔

And surely [a]among the People of the Book there are some who believe in Allah and in what has been sent down to you and in what was sent down to them, humbling themselves before Allah. They barter not the Signs of Allah for a paltry price. It is these who shall have their reward with their Lord. Surely, Allah is swift in settling account.[553]

The verse embodies a prophecy to the effect that many Christians and Jews will finally accept Islam.
The Arabic words rendered here as, Allah is swift in account, when used in regard to disbelievers, would mean that God is swift at taking account and dealing out punishment; but when used about believers they would mean that God is quick in settling accounts and giving out rewards.

اہل کتاب میں بھی کچھ لوگ ایسے ہیں جو اللہ کو مانتے ہیں، اس کتاب پر ایمان لاتے ہیں جو تمہاری طرف بھیجی گئی ہے اوراُس کتاب پربھی ایمان رکھتے ہیں جو اس سے پہلے خود ان کی طرف بھیجی گئی تھی، اللہ کے آگے جھکے ہوئے ہیں، اور اللہ کی آیات کو تھوڑی سی قیمت پر بیچ نہیں دیتے ان کا اجر ان کے رب کے پاس ہے اور اللہ حساب چکانے میں دیر نہیں لگاتا

And indeed, among the People of the Scripture are those who believe in Allah and what was revealed to you and what was revealed to them, [being] humbly submissive to Allah. They do not exchange the verses of Allah for a small price. Those will have their reward with their Lord. Indeed, Allah is swift in account.

And thou wilt see them brought before it (the Fire), casting down their eyes on account of disgrace, looking thereat with a stealthy glance. And those who believe will say, ‘The losers indeed are those who ruin themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection.’ Behold! the wrongdoers are to remain in a lasting punishment.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
اور تو اُنہیں دیکھے گا کہ وہ اس (عذاب) کے سامنے پیش کئے جائیں گے۔ ذلّت کی وجہ سے نہایت عاجزانہ حالت میں۔ وہ نظر خفی سے (اُسے) دیکھ رہے ہوں گے۔ اور وہ لوگ جو ایمان لائے، کہیں گے کہ یقیناً گھاٹا پانے والے تو وہی ہیں جنہوں نے اپنے آپ کو اور اپنے اہل و عیال کو قیامت کے دن گھاٹے میں ڈالا۔ خبردار یقیناً ظلم کرنے والے ایک ٹھہر جانے والے عذاب میں مبتلا ہوں گے۔

Et tu les verras confrontés au châtiment, la tête baissée à cause de la disgrâce, le regardant à la dérobée. Et ceux qui croient diront : « En vérité, les perdants sont ceux qui ont causé leur propre ruine et celle de leurs familles le Jour de la Résurrection. » Notez bien ! Les injustes devront rester dans un châtiment d’une longue durée.

Und du wirst sie ihr ausgesetzt sehen, gedemütigt ob der Schmach, mit verstohlenem Blicke schauend. Die aber gläubig sind, werden sprechen: "Fürwahr, die Verlierenden sind diejenigen, die sich selbst und ihre Angehörigen verlieren am Tage der Auferstehung." Höret! die Frevler sind wahrlich in langdauernder Pein.

E li vedrai, mentre saranno condotti davanti al fuoco, abbassare gli occhi per l'umiliazione, e gettare sguardi furtivi su di esso. E quelli che credono diranno: «È proprio vero: i perdenti sono quelli che rovinano sé stessi e le loro famiglie nel Giorno della risurrezione.» Ecco! I malvagi devono subire un castigo duraturo.

اور تو ان کو دیکھے گا کہ وہ اس عذاب کے سامنے پیش کیے جائیں گے اور ذلت کی وجہ سے سر جھکائے ہوئے نیچی نگاہوں سے دیکھ رہے ہوں گے اور مومن کہیں گے کہ اصل گھاٹا پانے والے وہی ہیں جنہوں نے اپنی جانوں اور اہل و عیال کو قیامت کے دن گھاٹے میں ڈالا۔ کان کھول کر سن لو! ظالم لوگ ایک قائم رہنے والے عذاب میں ہوں گے۔

And those who had believed will say, "Indeed, the [true] losers are the ones who lost themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection. Unquestionably, the wrongdoers are in an enduring punishment."

And thou wilt see them exposed to (the Fire), made humble by disgrace, and looking with veiled eyes. And those who believe will say: Lo! the (eternal) losers are they who lose themselves and their housefolk on the Day of Resurrection. Lo! are not the wrong-doers in perpetual torment?
